Mintstar blinked in surprise over the sound of another cat's mew, she must have been so focused on conversing with Tempeststar that everything else surrounding them wasn't too important until the tabby decided to introduce herself to the both of them. The gray-and-white molly glanced over at her, bowing her head in greeting at the cream she-cat and inwardly hoping this would be the last leader to approach her. She imagined she could manage speaking to two other cats without an issue, but any others and she had a feeling she wouldn't be able to handle it. "And I'm Mintstar, of PineClan." She mewed once Tempeststar had introduced himself.

Rowanpelt's heart ached as Willowbolt began to speak, he had never felt a loneliness as strong as this before and being so far away from his family hurt him more then words could say. Rowanpelt listened intently as the JinxClan deputy told him about what each kit looked like as well as their names, letting out a shaky, angered breath as he learned that snake of a cat - Yinpelt - named one of his sons something so demeaning. His claws unsheathed and scored marks on the ground below them, and Rowanpelt wished nothing more but to abandon the Gathering and race to JinxClan in order to protect Velvetrabbit and their kits from that awful tom. "And how's Velvetrabbit?" Rowanpelt mewed once his anger died down, more then anything he wanted to hear that his mate was alright. "A-and how's JinxClan, you said something about it being tense, Willowbolt I just want to make sure my family's safe!" He managed to make his voice quiet as to not alert the other deputies, but his urgency was made clear as day.

"Frankly I don't think I'll ever get used to it," Ratnose admitted, chuckling slightly at the calico's enthusiasm as she looked around her. He had been to Gatherings before, but the amount of cats that showed up always managed to amaze him whenever he took his first steps into the clearing. "and it's nice to meet you Maplefall. I'm Ratnose, of PineClan." He mewed, a small purr rumbled in his throat until it died down upon realizing the pale golden cat wasn't beside them anymore. "I hope I didn't scare her away?" He said, concerned over where she could've went.

Acornpaw gave the brown tabby a smile just as warm, sitting down besides the two and giving her forepaw a few licks as she listened to Snakepaw introduce his half-brother. But it appeared his attitude was certainly not as nice as it was towards her when it came to the irritated Darkpaw, who snarled once his brother was done speaking. Acornpaw wasn't exactly certain of what to do, but she hoped making conversation with the pair would be enough to distract them from their possible dislike for each other. "Well hello there Darkpaw," She mewed, a lazy smirk on her face. "how's training going for the two of you? I've become a pretty good hunter if I do say so myself."
