why so much clothes: he got a decent amount of tattoos on his arms and chest when he was young that he honestly really regrets-- they're much tougher, sharper looking than he is-- and he softened up a lot as he progressed through life, so he doesn't want to scare others around him, or give them a wrong impression of himself-- so he hides them, though because they cover so much of his body he just has to wear a lot of clothes-- and more to ensure the main layer isn't brushed aside to reveal them. it may seem silly, but he's terrified of people seeing them and judging him harshly for it.

why so much clothes:
"nwa. chuo no like cold." is this cute fluffball's excuse whenever they're asked this during the winter, since he can get away with it. People wont question him in the winter becuse its cold, so this excuse works, but what about when its stupidly hot? You'll simpily get this response: "Chuo is cold blood, so chuo always cold. nwa.", in his small, soft voice. It's enough to just shrug it off and think he's being truthful, when in reality there's something much deeper going on.

Chuo isnt lying about having cold blood. Its the least of his problems and he doesn't mind as much as he did when he found out. Originally he was paranoid about his cold blood and thats where his habbit of lots of clothes came from. Nowadays he just uses it as an excuse to stop people asking questions. The fact that he never had an actual gender, plays a factor here too. He began developing insecurities as a small child and these only grew bigger as he progressed through school. He never knew what to call himself or how he should act. Everyone wanted him to define himself when all Chuo wanted was to be left alone. No-one could help him other than telling him he's lucky or special. In the end, Chuo chose male pronouns just to shut everyone up. He felt really insecure all the way through school, especially since they had a uniform in place, and the uniform had only two layers to it. Chuo just couldn't feel secure with little layers on, he didnt really know why, but it's down to a combination of his different problems. Because of this, he often skipped classes, ran away and even skipped school altogether. Out of school he wore layers and layers of clothing, using his cold-blooded condition as an excuse.The final large factor to his funny fashion habbits is that Chuo lacks the feeling of pain. He can't physically feel pain unless its his head, ears, hands, tail or feet. As a result of this so he fears hurting himself, as he could be bleeding to death and he'd have no idea.

All of this results in him constantly many wearing layers of clothes. He's just a strange thing who only really wants to be loved for what he is, but no-one ever understood.

Reason for so much clothes: Scarlet is hiding the fact that she is a geneticly modified wolf/human hybrid created by crazed scientists who wanted to create a better, smarter, more agressive race of humans. As a result, she has elongated canines so she wears a scarf to hide her mouth and she has a fluffy layer of fur so she always wears long sleeved jackets and long pants

why so much clothes: He is a huge traveler, and as small as he is it's hard to carry his belongings all in one pack! Because of this, he wears most of his clothing on him at all times so he doesn't have to waste space. His clothing also tends to have a lot of pockets so he can spread out his smaller items and save some more room in his backpack. Of course, the padding also helps him sleep easier if he has to set up camp outside because it's warm, it's comfortable, and it helps keep him mostly bug-bite free. When it's warm out he might try different ways of tying the sleeves around his waist, chest, or neck.

He has a disease called POTS which means he's always super cold because of bad blood circulation. And if he's gonna have a disease, he's gonna be comfortable and cute while having it c: He also really likes the feeling of soft things like his sweater and jacket, they both are a bit like a reassurance blanket (like the kid from Charlie Brown has.) Even in the summer you'll find them covered in clothing, although its considerably thinner fabric than in winter. :p
