Finially got around to uploading a pic of my flowers onto tumblr so i could post them here lol
here is a pic of my irid that flowered last year. I have some more to plant but im waiting till spring because the frost will kill the seedlings lol

Now to wait for the other photos ofmy succulents and cacti to upload lol

The big purple/hairy flower is from my blowfly succulent, and as the name mentions. It does indeed catch flys lol

I need you help. The first one has now hurry. How you can see I
put some corde on my cactus, because he grows in all direction.
Right now it's now problem, but what am I going to do later when
he is bigger? I mean he will fall :c
Also the second one start to be yellow and it grows in to the top.
I don't know what to do, I changed nothing with watering and all.
All is the same. I don't want that he dies. :'o

@klain with your first cactus, id advise to repot it into a bigger pot due to the amount of growth its expierencing. You can do nothing to stop the growth of them, if they are going to be a tall plant its going to happen regardless. So best option would be to put a few skewers into the pot and tie them with string like youve done here
I dont know what to do with the second plant because im currently having problems with my own. It could be due to frost, lack of water, to much sun or not enough water

hello, sorry for my inactivity recently ;~; i was visiting a friend in another country and am currently traveling home as i write this.

Whilst i was visiting him I implusively bought an air plant but sadly at some point in the bus ride it got a bit squished and i cannot do much currently but I was wondering if any of you had had experience with air plants and if it will be okay? I'd be sad if I killed it before I even got it home.

Hey! I wanted you guys to know that if you spray tree leaves with a spray bottle full of water, trees love it! I found it real useful! My trees leaves have grown HUGE!

So i has an idea yesterday, we buy coffee jars that are the glass ones and i realised, heck these will make cute   terrariums
So ive started to make a few but realised all my succulents are either extremly fast growing or are big plants
Does anyone have any small/slow growing succulents they can reccomend?

unfortunately, i can't give much advice beyond cacti - as in my experience all the cacti I've had have been slow growing.
you should take photos when it's done, we'd all love to see! :3

Thank you to those who answered my question a while ago I've been watering them whenever the soil is dry, or if the plant itself looks like it needs it, and they all seem to be doing well, so I mus be doing something right
My little plant family has grown since I last posted, I've added two more succulents, and a tiny little cacti. I'll have to remember to post pictures.

I came across Venus Fly Traps in a local garden centre today, and as our house has a huge year round fly problem, I need these things in my life. I've not seen any for sale before, or I'd have got some years ago.

So, anyone have experience of caring for them? There was a board next to them that said they like moist conditions, and not to force them to close, as it stops them working properly (or words to that affect that make more sense). And that is the extend on my knowledge of their care
Any help will be appreciated! Going back to the same place on Thursday, so will hopefully pick up a couple then.
