Epitome's soul hurt, his very black heart ached. Perhaps he really wasn't cut out for this King of Hell thing after all, he had always been filled with pain and hurt that a king shouldn't feel. He walked away from everyone, doubts beginning to fill him, his mind swimming with questions about why he ever thought a guy like him could live without a heart. He was evil, he was glad to see suffering, but he just couldn't handle the expectations, the pressure to remain ever strong. He went to lay underneath a palm tree, looking out over the waves and the gleaming sunlight that he hated, why couldn't the moon just replace the sun? It was the question of his life, Hades and Epitome were just like the sun and the moon. They couldn't be brought to replace one another.

(nope, basically Arsenic, Vex, Discord and Hades are just talking to one another. Discord has a crush on Hades and they were wreaking havoc until Arsenic told them to stop. Now Hades is having second thoughts about being King of Hell and he is laying under a tree thinking things over. Vex has been asked to train Rhaza and that's pretty much it.)

Star doubled back and crept into her cave. After leaving a scent trail through the mazes for Daemon to follow, she curled up and fell asleep.

Daemon laughed and took to the challenge. Arsenic walked over to Gaia and smiled. She hopped into the tree, and looked at Eternal. She loved him, but she could never say it. She called him over, and laughed at his eagerness to come to her every beckoning call. Calypso smiled and took Rhaza to go get a bath.
