Cedarfoot is an exceptionally easy going and friendly tom, especially with apprentices and younger warriors since he has a very fatherly and affectionate nature. Cedarfoot is generally quite laid back, and enjoys spending time with cats who appreciate and reciprocate his relaxed humour. While he generally makes friends very easily and can chat comfortably with almost anyone, it takes time to truly earn his trust and respect. He values his friends extremely highly; so much so that he would hardly hesitate to break clan rules for them, if it came to it. He is very considerate and polite towards others, which compliments his friendly nature perfectly. He's also exceptionally patient, which makes him an excellent mentor and teacher to the youngsters of the clan.

Despite his friendliness and amiability, he's quite a quiet tom, and is usually reserved, saying only what he believes needs to be said and nothing more. This does mean that he can sometimes be perceived as secretive by others, since he doesn't share much of what he knows or thinks about. He can appear somewhat flat and emotionless on the surface sometimes, but it's not an intentionally cultivated facade; he'd much prefer he didn't give off that impression, since it's not at all reflective of him. He's very in touch with his emotions and, admittedly, sometimes allows himself to be carried away with them.

Cedarfoot is honest to a fault, and expects that others will be too - but this means even the smallest white lies can hurt him and damage his trust. To others his response to lying often seems like an overreaction, which he finds difficult to come to terms with. It's difficult for him to forgive liars without retaining doubts about their character. Cedarfoot also struggles to take criticisms and feedback from others. He quickly becomes defensive if it's pointed out that he has done something wrong, and this can make it difficult for him to sensibly work through problems in relationships or differences in ideals to other cats.

Paleheart is an extremely stubborn and opinionated she-cat. She isn't afraid to challenge anyone and everyone in the clan - especially the leader - if she thinks their ideas or actions aren't justified. She has strong opinions on what is wrong and right, and often refuses to compromise on her morals even if they clash with the warrior code.

In general, she has very little respect for the warrior code and generally only follows it when it suits her, which has gotten her into trouble a few times; luckily, her morals often align with the warrior code so most of the time she follows it without complaint. Paleheart is extremely blunt and straightforward, but is also surprisingly patient and gentle, although that side of her only ever comes out when she's treating her clanmates in the privacy of her den.

She's also quite pessimistic and often expects the worst in situations. This luckily doesn't translate into her work as a medicine cat, which is the one thing she always puts all her effort into. Her pessimistic nature was largely caused by an incident with her brother, Marshfoot, who was attacked by a fox during his vigil after becoming a warrior, and died shortly after being brought back to camp.

Marshfoot's death changed her from a hopeful, energetic young warrior to an embittered, wilful cat with a tendency to lash out. Despite this seemingly self-centred nature, she's still incredibly perceptive and sharp-witted, and often can easily read other cats. She can often diagnose a tricky problem with surprising ease as a result. Marshfoot's death was also the reason she became a medicine cat. Her path was not a traditional one, in that she had already graduated as a warrior when she became a medicine cat apprentice. After Marshfoot died at the paws of the clan's medicine cat, Paleheart vowed that she would do her best to stop any cat feeling the pain that she felt at his death.

Paleheart sometimes felt a powerful resentment towards her mentor for not saving her brother, but over time that resentment faded as she learned how much the deaths of clanmates affected the older medicine cat. Instead, she directed her anger to the warrior code and clan traditions, believing that if a vigil wasn't compulsory, Marshfoot would still be alive. With Marshfoot's death still fresh in her mind, her intense personality is likely to persist for many moons yet. But perhaps with time, the molly will finally let go of the tragedy and begin to mellow out and open up.

and determinedly continued arguments.

Mothpaw is extremely blunt and straight-
forward, but is also surprisingly patient and
gentle, although that side of her only ever
comes out when she's alone with family or
her closest friends. Most often, the side of
her that her clan sees is that of a stubborn,
sarcastic troublemaker.

Mothpaw has a tendency to expect the worst
in most situations and is, annoyingly, often
vocal about it. She doesn't always have the
sensitivity to notice when her doubtfulness
is affecting the morale of others.

Cloudwhisker is not exactly... outgoing. In fact, he's just about the complete opposite - timid and shy, with basically non-existent confidence. He has a pretty low opinion of himself which makes him reluctant to socialise, try new things, and share his opinions and ideas, no matter how good he thinks they are. He hesitates to approach even the gentlest of his clanmates, always feeling out of his depth in conversations. Ever since he was a kit he has had the persistent feeling of being out of place, resulting in a feeling of detachment from his clanmates and a difficult in making and keeping friends. Cloudwhisker constantly compares himself to others, further lowering his self-esteem with harsh - and sometimes completely baseless - criticism. Underneath his nervous exterior he's a very kind cat, and does what he can to help his clanmates, whether they know about it or not.

Despite his crippling shyness, there have been a few times where Cloudwhisker has become so impassioned by an event or issue that he has gained enough confidence to share his opinion and even argue over it, rather than just passively listen to a discussion or back down as soon as he is challenged. That confidence has never lasted long, though.

Cloudwhisker is generally distrustful of those he doesn't know, which extends to most of his clanmates. This makes it that much more difficult for the tom to make friends since he's constantly on the watch for something to go wrong. He often ends up distancing himself due to worrying about their ulterior motives, unknowingly terminating the friendship himself. That's not to say he doesn't want friends, of course. He's just no good at them yet.

Rookfang could be a posterboy for the classic warrior. Strong, fit, brave, and often found looking dramatically into the sunset, Rookfang is pretty much everything you expect from a cat whose role is to protect and serve his clan. He's remarkably confident in himself, and dead loyal to his clanmates. He's a planner, and a leader in troubled times. But... get on Rookfang's bad side and you'll find he's not the golden boy he seems. He has a fiery temper that can be stoked with a few ill-considered words, and one wrong move can find you on the end of a moons-long grudge. He can be stubborn and unfair, immovable in his opinions even if he can see he's wrong. He flares up defensively when criticised and while it's often easier to persuade him when he's calm, it's all too easy for him to find something worth getting riled up about. Despite his bristling exterior, he's a softy at heart and generally just wants the best for everyone. He's a true friend and loyal companion, and in the quiet moments he's an affectionate confidant. Not perfect... but he's trying.

Elijah is an incredibly energetic and bold male. He has no problem having all eyes on him, which is fortunate since his loud voice and constant fidgeting seems to draw attention to him pretty often. He's very self-assured and confident in just about every situation, from flirting to fighting, and quite often this is construed as obnoxiousness or arrogance, especially by those who may not be used to his intense personality. He can be pretty headstrong and doesn't always listen to reason, often taking action without really thinking things through. He's usually pretty stubborn about his beliefs and usually stands by his responses and actions even if he knows that he's in the wrong (though he'll eventually give in and admit defeat if he's pushed hard enough).

Elijah is also extremely inquisitive and naturally tries to seek out anything that is unfamiliar or arouses his curiosity. More than once he's been out on patrol only to get split up after following a strange sound or stopping to check out an odd plant. He is really, really bad at being serious. No matter how sad or dire the situation, he finds a way to turn it into a joke and ignore the tension in the air. This can be helpful during a crisis, but when others try to have serious conversations with him he simply doesn't have the emotional maturity to settle down and take it seriously. This can cause a lot of harm to those close to him, and he's often not willing to work through issues or even to admit that the issue exists.

Kell is generally quiet and unassuming - a bit of a wallflower, if you will. He tends to be more interested in watching than participating, taking everything in with his steady gaze. He is friendly and polite towards others, but takes his time to build up trust in them. Kell has quite a gentle and caring persona. He is fond of pups and would like to father a litter in future, although he is extremely apprehensive about having a family again due to his past and hasn't given it much thought in recent years. Despite his introverted demeanour, Kell can be very assertive when it comes to arguing, expressing his opinion or sticking up for himself and those he cares about. Whilst he has qualities that could make him an admirable leader, he prefers to give authority to others and will never take initiative if there are more experienced or high-ranking wolves in his company.

Kell was born into a small pack on the fringes of xxx pack's territory. It was simply the alphas and their two adult pups, a brother and sister. As the second litter of the alphas, Kell and his sisters - Azira and Lilith - were expected to bring more strength to the pack. But when Kell and his siblings were barely four months old, a bear attacked their pack, killing Kell's father and older siblings. Kell's mother was struck down trying to protect her pups. Kell fled, terrified for his life, leaving his sisters behind. He believes they must have died at the paws of the bear. Kell was taken in as a pup and grew up in xxx pack, keeping his past mostly to himself. He has a strong sense of guilt about abandoning his sisters, even though he was so young he can barely remember the incident.
As a young adult, Kell courted Lysa, a soft-spoken tawny she-wolf. Lysa bore him a single pup, Cor - but their daughter was stillborn, and Lysa herself passed away during the birth. Since then, Kell has kept even more to himself than before; he responds kindly enough when spoken to, but prefers to keep himself distant, not wanting to be hurt by loss any more than he has been already.
