Pack of Olympic Forest
Number of Dogs: 9 adults, 4 tenderpaws; 5 female, 8 male

Raleigh could not eat. For those already returned, the day had been successful. Rowdy had found many herbs thanks to Mousie and her herbal intuition. The hunting party had found quarry. The Boston Twins had taught their charges some good battle moves.

But where was the foxing party?

As if on cue, Briar came tearing into camp and buried himself in his mother's fur. Bewildered, Bramble looked up at Blue, who had followed the pup in.

"We chased the foxes," Blue said, not looking at Bramble. "The fight turned ugly."

Bramble watched Pie enter the clearing. His shoulder fur was matted with blood, and he hung his head in shame. Sooty was not on his heels.

The younger Airedale stood a little ways from the smooth-fox. "She's gone," he said quietly.

The camp fell silent.

A few days later, the dogs had a small burial ceremony for the deceased Tenderpaw.

"Taken too soon," Raleigh said as Bramble and Pebble laid their pup to sleep for the last time.

Briar gulped. "I should have done something," he said to Pie.

Pie shook his head. "No, lad. She was mine. I failed her."

After the ceremony, life resumed. Starkie, Stitches, Blue, and Rowdy took their charges on a learning expedition to learn tracking. Pie went on a border patrol to clear his head. Jack took the bereaved parents on a scenic hunting trip.

Swinging Blades

2 Males
As Kota awoke the next morning, he came face to tail with a black tenderpaw. Kota stood up and looked at the sleeping puppy. "Thank you ancestors. I will not disappoint you." He nudged the pup. "Wake up young one. What is your name?"
*yawn* "My name is Dimitri. The ancestors sent me here so I can learn how to fight from you. What am I going to learn first?" Dimitri's tail wagged eagerly.
"Woah, slow down there tenderpaw. First I am going to show you the territory. After, we can start your training."
"I can't wait. I am so excited! I want to learn all I can from a great alpha like you."

Weather Report: The mud from previous storms is all dried up now. The weather has started to cool and the leaves are turning their fall colors, some have even started to fall with the wind. The sun is starting to set earlier and rise later as well and sometimes there can be fog in the early morning. Prey will become less as the fall season continues so catch as much as you can while you can for the coming winter! Predators are starting to become more frequent as well so watch out!

Azalea gave birth to 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 pups! Two are stillborn and the rest are healthy.
Charlie and Stone are well enough to continue their Ironteeth duties.

(You will have to send more dogs out for food to catch enough for all these pups haha)
Bandit and Thunder find a dog and their sibling.(Hope they help some)

Pack of Olympic Forest

Raleigh padded along the trails. Today, she was hunting alongside her son. She felt that they had grown separate recently, and she wanted him back.

Rowdy was back in camp, teaching Mousie some defense moves. He felt it adamantly that though a Shaman should never attack,
they should be able to hold their own.

Stitches and Starkie had taken Rocky and Badger on a hunt to teach them proper hunting maneuvers.

Blue took Briar on patrol to learn navigation skills.

Jack, Pebble, and Bramble remained behind to guard camp.

(1 large gamebird aka 3 servings was eaten)
(Pie and Raleigh go hunting)
(Rowdy teaches Mousie defense)
(Stitches and Starkie teach Badger and Rocky hunting moves while on a hunt)
(Blue teaches Briar navigation while on patrol)

Swinging Blades

Number of Dogs:

2 Males
Kota and young Dimitri walked through the grassy valley. "Do you want to know how move like these blades of grass?"
"Yes! They move so freely and easily. The grass sways so quickly I can't keep my eye on it. But isn't that because the wind blows it?"
Kota crouches down. "Yes the wind pushes the grass in a certain direction. But you see, the grass twists and turns itself as it's being blown." He blows on the grass in front of him. It bends and wiggles before standing straight up again. "It moved in the direction of my blowing. Did you notice how not every blade moved the same way? That is because they themselves chose to move in their own way."
A shape moved in the distance. Kota noticed it and walked to investigate what was on his territory. A dog was wandering in the grassy valley. It looked like it came down from the mountains. Kota and Dimitri greeted the new dog.
"Hello stranger. What makes you come to the territory of the Swinging Blades kennel?"
The female dog replied "I didn't know this was someone's territory. I came to drink some water and rest."
"Well, if you'd like you can stay and join my kennel. I am the alpha, Kota, and this is my apprentice Dimitri."
"I will accept your offer. I am Callie. What is Dimiri learning from you?"
"In this kennel, we have a particular fighting style that I have perfected. We sway and strike like the grass. I'm teaching Dimitri how to fight and I can teach you also. When we hunt each of our members will strike and move so there will be no pause to the blows."
"Sounds interesting. Why don't you show me how this fighting style of yours works on a hunt?"
"I was just going to suggest that. Let's be going then. Dimitri you can watch how we hunt."

The Kennel Where the Red Fern Grows

Where the Red Fern Grows is a Kennel of mostly Herding, Sporting and Working breeds. Almost all of the dogs in this Kennel are among the bigger dogs. The dogs are very respectful and friendly, but they usually ignore their neighbors. As these dogs are usually pretty shy. They live in a small valley next to a dense forest. They live in a clearing next to the river, with some of the trees as cover.

Red Fern dogs usually have very devastating backstories, the leader made this kennel to welcome rejected and mistreated dogs/pups. These dogs are very nice but tend to lash out if something reminds them of their past. They respect and care for one another, but aren't really 'lovers' or 'fighters'.

Swinging Blades

Number of Dogs: 2 Males_1 Female_3 Total

Kota dropped the last rabbit him and Callie caught. "Great job redirecting that rabbit to me. In such an open field like this, it can be easy for prey to get away. You are an excellent hunter." comments Kota.
Callie smiles and picks up the rabbit Kota dropped. She replies with a muffled "Well you learn a lot when you are on your own for so long."
Dimitri crouched low to the ground, hidden by the tall grass. His pawsteps were calculated and silent. His amber eyes were locked on his target. Dimitri slowly circled. He watched as the two dogs conversed. With a slight smile curled on his joules, Dimitri darted forward growling playfully. He ran in between the two adults and swiped the mouse from the small pile. Without missing a step, Dimitri was gone.
Kota blinked before he started laughing. "Ha ha. It looks like you did watch and learn. Good job. The only thing I had a problem with was that I could see you from all the way back in the grass. Your coat gives you away. Maybe when we are hunting, you could act as a distracter instead of a sneak attacker."
Dimitri reemerged with the mouse in his jaws. "Aww I thought that I was undetectable. Stupid black fur!"
"Don't get upset because of how you look. Being such a dark color has it's advantages. Like you will be great at night hunts when the moon is at it's darkest. And in the day, you can still be used as a distracter like I was and redirect the prey to the hunting party. There is more to hunting than stalking and pouncing on prey, especially in a group."
"How do you so much about hunting Callie?"
"Well... I've been on my own for a while. I needed to learn in order to survive."
"But you said you knew how to hunt in a group?"
Callie didn't answer and kneaded the ground. She had a very sad expression on her face and stared at her paws. It was silent for a few moments. "Don't worry Callie. You don't have to tell us anything if you don't want to. We all have pasts and some of it we don't want to share with others."
She nodded. "Right. I'm just going to go on a patrol. I can figure out the territory by your markings." Callie walked off by herself, tail limp and head slightly lowered.
Dimitri said "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make her sad. I didn't know that she would react that way."
Kota answered "It's fine. Let's bring the food back to camp. And then I can teach you more on how to fight." He picked up the two rabbits and Dimitri picked up the mouse. They made their way back to camp. The camp was located near the pond. It has a few trees to sit under and a bed of patted down grass where Kota slept. Dimitri dropped his mouse and made himself a bed under a shady tree. The leaves were turning brown and some started to fall off.

Weather Report: Fall has arrived! The air is crisp with a edge of chill and the leaves are finally changing and falling from the trees! A lot of prey is out prepping for the oncoming winter. Dogs will be more likely to find prey and loners looking for a place to stay won't be as frequent. Watch out for predators getting a little too curious! Humans looking to hunt boar and deer are in surplus so dogs need to watch their feet for hunter traps.

Adalia yawned,she raised her head and saw Leonard,Conrad and Emma playing.She smiled,not noticed Luzifer staring jelously at all of them with his sky blue eyes.The pups have learnt to keep away from Luzifer,thinking that his black coat was a bad omen and that he was some supernatural being.Luzifer gulped down a cry and as a innocent frown came down the den,Adalia looked around,thinking something happened to Emma,Leonard or Conrad,but put her head down softly,closing her eyes,before having another nightmare about her beautiful stillborn son,Dagobert.

Duci trotted over to Mckenzie's den,quickly waking her up ''wake up,sleeping beauty,we got work to do.'' she smirke before taking her to a training session.

Basil trotted over to Loki ''would you need any of my help,alpha?If so,i'm, ready for anything.'' she asked obiedently ''it would be nice if you could go hunting for herbs?It's Fall and alot of predators might be out.''

Kai,Benjamin and Bruno quickly made friends with eachother [mostly Kai and Bruno,Kai hates Benjamin],they laughed and chuckled as they came up to their alpha ''Alpha,we heard you wanted us to go hunting again.'' said Benjamin as Loki nodded.
