Question: I may be changing usernames soon, but it will always have "Rivalette" in it, can I just put Rivalette on the slip?

All of your past usernames are kept on file, so I wouldn't worry too much if your username is not a perfect match at the time of judging. ^^

Do you have a recipe you used for the soft white icing [for the dog + cake] or did you buy it from a cake shop?

I bought it pre-made from a supermarket, but I did see lots of recipes online for making the same stuff. It might be cheaper to make your own if you already have the right ingredients. It cost me approx US $4.50 for a box of pre-made stuff which was more than enough to make the mini cake and dog for my cake.

To the kiwi who asked where from - I got it from a Countdown supermarket in Dunedin for about NZ$6.50 (there is more than one brand/price available) - if you want to get some to make some small cake decorations from (like my dog and cake) you will just need the smallest packet they have. I got a small box and it was more than enough, I still have about a third left.

you can eat the cake, just make sure to take lots of photos (with your username displayed in them) before you cut it up!

to save the tears, I'd recommend getting your photos successfully entered onto the site before you eat the cake, just in case something goes wrong with the camera or you forget to put the name on there.
