I'd like to check out what's around me while I'm sitting here in the ER for my sister, but alas, my phone has failed me. Was thinking I could catch a few little things while I sat here, but.

Do you live in too small of a town?

I went out to a raid on my own and there were a bunch of people waiting to start so I was able to join them. Same story for the second raid I went to. Try going out there anyway, who knows. C: (Lugia is rarer than Articuno btw.)

Like Raire, I've also managed to catch an Articuno! I haven't seen a Lugia raid and I don't suspect I will any time soon. I'm just happy to have one legendary Pokemon right now.

^^Yeah there was an Articuno raid by my house, but I couldn't participate because a) I'm a level 24 b) I wasn't sure if any other people would be down there and c) I'm babysitting my brother's puppy and I wasn't going to take him on a walk down the highway so he could get hit

But my sister did an Articuno raid with 19 other people and my brother-in-law caught a Lugia, so we still have plenty of people around here who play even if it's not a big city

Two Lugia raids today, didn't manage to catch either one of them... *sigh*

It's raining nonstop, I'm SOAKED and I won't go out again today. But there were a lot of players there today, we managed to make 3 groups every time. We were about 50 players total I guess.

Wow you all sure do have a ton of active players still. I have participated in 3 raids so far, and no one else was there.

The players I bumped into were only there for Legendary raids, at least. I haven't seen anyone gather for other raids.

This is worth a read. An explanation and apology about Chicago Fest from John Hanke, as well as the dates of when the other legendary birds will be released.

Eventually Articuno will stop appearing and be replaced by Moltres, then after Moltres' time is up, Zapdos will be around for a bit.

No mention of the dogs, Ho-oh, or Mew/Mewtwo. It's also not clear how long Lugia is staying around for. Most people are theorising that Lugia will be around for the whole span of Articuno/Moltres/Zapdos, but there's no garauntee to that since we just don't know right now.

Putting them in raids is hard enough.... why make them limited time.....
During all of zapdos spawn I'll be visiting my grandmother in a town that has 3 gyms and 4 pokestops in the whole entire town. Sigh.

Nah, they started Raids on level 35, but lowered it quite soon.
You can participate in Raid battles as soon as you hit level 5, although it will be much harder for you since you don't have high CP Pokemon yet.

In all raids I participated in we had quite the large amount of players between lvl 20 and 25. We just needed more players in total to defeat the Legendaries then.

Anyway, third time's the charm - caught Lugia!
We're planning a big lure event in my town today and gather in a park which has one gym and about 10 stops. Maybe something nice will show up~
