Pretty suspicious, but that's how business owners are...
Panopea
Musicians would take away her business if they were both in the courtyard together. She seems fascinated by the pearls, so perhaps she would stop at nothing to get them... Even if that means sabotaging the jamboree musicians so she's the center of attention, and therefore getting more of her precious pearls.
Also, pearls do keep popping up in the breaking news.
True
But we still need to find where did the wood come from.
I have a theory again:
Remember when the dragon was angry when we first came in and he first mistook us as the person who was bothering him? Maybe that person was Shelly, who kept on pestering him for wood.
Pinboard updated guys, look.
aaAA I forgot all about that! Also, for the flash of red, have we noticed that panopea seems more red on the pinboard? Or am I crazy?
I don't think it's cuttler, but it is suspicious that he cleared himself first (on his own investigation...)

That's exactly why I think that he isn't guilty... Maybe someone wanted to frame him?
That is actually a possibility. But the Boutique dog wanted food from him. Maybe that might help?

I agree, chatting on the phone doesn't really prove your alibi

I agree with the second theory, but somehow I have a hard time framing the dragon. It seems likely, but I still feel like he's the anonymous witness.

I mean wouldn't he be mad nobody invited him to the Jamboree.. that's a good motive, and maybe he had some help from the pearl dealer (news mentioned a pearl dealer) to use his tentacles as lock picks?
Ravenfeather Holmes on the caseI've been wondering about that too, to be honest! But we don't have any evidence apart from the fact that he wasn't invited, which doesn't make for a very strong argument... I also wonder if it was that princess (what's her name? XD). She strikes me as having quite a sinister character... I can see her smashing instruments out of spite for something XD
Also aaah, I'm glad Cuttler's been cleared! cx
