Wait, does the time in the picture of the chatlog have to be when it happened? Or could it have happened some other random time and then a different day at that time was when Cuttler got the picture? I don't know much of anything about that, though.

Musicians would take away her business if they were both in the courtyard together. She seems fascinated by the pearls, so perhaps she would stop at nothing to get them... Even if that means sabotaging the jamboree musicians so she's the center of attention, and therefore getting more of her precious pearls.

I have a theory again:
Remember when the dragon was angry when we first came in and he first mistook us as the person who was bothering him? Maybe that person was Shelly, who kept on pestering him for wood.

I don't think it's cuttler, but it is suspicious that he cleared himself first (on his own investigation...)

I feel like it's not out of character for Cuttler, he seems to love positive attention and if he got any negative attention he'd get defensive -
Not saying he's not still a suspect, but I don't find it super suspicious

-He has wood, seaweed, and shells that we traded in

I've been thinking this for a while, but maybe it was shelly's hair he burnt back in 2015? Maybe he felt bad so he was giving her wood as compensation not knowing what she was going to do with it.

That's exactly why I think that he isn't guilty... Maybe someone wanted to frame him?

That is actually a possibility. But the Boutique dog wanted food from him. Maybe that might help?

I heard a theory that the Boutique dog had a crush on the Chef and wanted his attention, but since the chef was too busy with the jamboree she decided to ruin the party so he could have more time for her. On this theory they pointed out that if she was guilty the attention would turn to her and he would obviously notice her, but I think that she might have wanted to frame him so he would loose his job and have more time for her WITHOUT hating her for ruining something that he worked hard for. She also makes great outfits and could easily make a red mane outfit. She probably also has tentacles, shells and other things that she uses to make more outfits!

Hmm... Herringbone could have given a red herring to the reporter, because even if he had a key from someone he paired with, he couldn't have confessed who he was helping without giving himself away...

I've been wondering about that too, to be honest! But we don't have any evidence apart from the fact that he wasn't invited, which doesn't make for a very strong argument... I also wonder if it was that princess (what's her name? XD). She strikes me as having quite a sinister character... I can see her smashing instruments out of spite for something XD

Or something like that and then it said "Tentacle marks were found on the stage." When I saw the second update I thought of Wade (The beautiful gal at the race track) but I also thought of the pink squid (Forgot her name) and for motives for anybody, just to stop the Jamboree or they were looking for something and they thought it was in the instruments. But also both things point to Steve and his squid (Say it ain't so!) who was also accused of rigging the races.
