Anyone else think its kind of suspicious when the Barnacle Boutique owner (pardon, I don't know her name) says:

This kind of bothers me; but I suppose this idea is a bit out there compared to all of yours.

its not out there at all! that has been a piece of evidence against her since pretty much the beginning; it's very reasonable and it's a very good piece of evidence, but we've gotten a lot more information since, so that's being focused on

Musicians would take away her business if they were both in the courtyard together. She seems fascinated by the pearls, so perhaps she would stop at nothing to get them... Even if that means sabotaging the jamboree musicians so she's the center of attention, and therefore getting more of her precious pearls.

I have a theory again:
Remember when the dragon was angry when we first came in and he first mistook us as the person who was bothering him? Maybe that person was Shelly, who kept on pestering him for wood.

I don't think it's cuttler, but it is suspicious that he cleared himself first (on his own investigation...)

-Wasn't invited to the party so people suspect he snuck in our of jealousy
-He has wood, seaweed, and shells that we traded in

But I only think he was in it indirectly since I think Shelly was taking it from him without the dragon even knowing what was she doing for it. She could have made an excuse to help her make more clothing but... that's kinda it.

Isn't it a bit too convenient that he was the only one ready to give an alibi with proof and that the proof is just a text that could be sent anywhere? I can send a text while crashing things, just saying....

that's true! it doesn't necessarily make him out.
he could have sent that text at anytime. we need to know the time that the crime was committed to make sure that he is completely innocent. and your right he was ready with an alibi just to get us off his radar.

I think im sticking with just cuttler or

panopea, shelly and the dragon.
here's why, they are the only ones yet to be mentioned on the board besides the mer-cub but I think I can count her out. and they could all get in from panopea who has a key. she left her tentacle marks behind
the dragon provided wood and he was the flash of red.
and shelly did the vandalizing with the seaweed and the clam shells (panopea could also provide clam shells)

I disagree with you because it did confirm that he was chatting with his fans.So cutter isn t one of the suspects.I would say the chief.He was the only one who was left at the court yard.Plus he has a red mane.Now about the Dragon.It couldn't be him because he wouldn't have a key.plus he is really never invited anyway.Unless someone let him in and the suspect could be blaming it on him if it's true.The suspect could have used the Dragon.

I think it's Chef Calamari. They said something about a Flash of red, And Tenticals. It matches his mane pretty well

his tentacles are more maroon and at night they would've looked dark purple. also they're on his head so unless he somehow smashed his head on the floor I think it's safe to assume it wasn't him. the clues are leading us to him but it's a red herring.
