i have an idea but does it have to state "CS 3 B-Day?" and if i make a cake that looks like avian, then could i add an extra neclace to show its the third birthday?

It doesn't have to state 'CS 3 B-day' on the cake, but it should be reasonably obvious that the cake was made for CS, or else we might think the cake had nothing to do with this contest

if you made a cake which looked like avian, it would be obvious enough that the cake was made for the contest so it's okay to not put a message on there

Question:

in the rules it says icing needs to made by myself, so I wouldn't be able to use store bought sugar paste to cover the cake with? Or Marzipan to make decorations out of?

Also, would I be able to decorate my cake with cupcakes? :I

what it means is that you should have iced your cake and added decorations yourself, rather than getting a pre-made cake and submitting that. I don't really care if your icing was out of a packet or mixed yourself, as long as you're applying it to the cake yourself. Any special shaped decorations etc should have been made by yourself

Okay, a question about the custom prize. Can we get a custom of any official existing lineart?

Probably going to enter. I love cake. =D

custom would be made one one of the currently-in-use linearts (not an officially retired one)

however the 'currently in-use' linearts list does include species like the bunnies, lions, tess dragons, or bats

if you won, you could choose for the voucher to be sent to your mom's email so that she could have control over what you spent it on - she might prefer it that way?

You don't have to make the icing yourself, but you need to ice the cake yourself (don't get a pre-iced cake from the store, that's cheating!)

sprinkles are fine, pre-made letter candies are okay too, but if your entire design is based on pre-made items then you won't score very highly in the 'creative' category!
