The silver and white she-cat flicked an ear and nodded to Sunstar, her expression serious."I'd be happy to.I'll take Birchpaw with me if thats alright, it'll be good for her to get more accustomed to our territory and patrols."She mewed, not at all put out at the thought of having to go out again.She liked to keep busy, and would have probably found something else to do if she wasn't leading the patrol.

The tortoiseshell tabby and white queen, smiled softly as she continued to groom the mud off her sleeping white kit.She purred softly as she licked the mud off, and wondered thoughtfully where Creamflower was.She partly wished there were more queens in the camp to keep her company, with her denmate often spending time with Sunstar in his den.

Her small white chest rose and fell peacefully as she slept,having fallen asleep with her mother's grooming.She dreamt that she was running through the forest, chasing silent butterflies in the sunshine.Other kits soon joined her, and she laughed as more butterflies appeared with them.None of them could catch any, but one bright golden one did land on her nose, making her giggle.

Orangepaw bounded over to take shelter from the rain near the apprentice den, once there she attempted to shake some of the water from her bright ginger pelt. Her dark green eyes still glowed happily at having caught more prey than her brother. She settled down after a moment and glanced over at her mentor, feeling slightly annoyed, she wished Sunstar had been the one to take her out training instead of Thushpelt. He always seems so busy now... She thought to herself frowning.

Cragpaw smiled and watched his mentor go, he grabbed a mouse from the fresh-kill pile before padding over to join his sister near the apprentice's den. Settling down next to her, unbothered by his wet pelt, he offered his sister a bite from the mouse but she shook her head looking annoyed. He shrugged it off and began to eat the mouse, quite hungry after hunting all morning. He decided he would bring Lilydawn something to eat after he was done.

Specklepaw thought for a moment before she realized. "Oh!" she
meowed before letting out a purr of amusement. "I'm so stupid! I had the answer all along!"
She padded inside and sniffed out the leaf before she picked it up.
I think this is dock, she thought before she glanced back at Nightecho for approval.

Thorntail purred in amusement as Blizzardwind leaped off of the rock. "Well,
just make sure you do eat something so you don't starve yourself." She turned
towards the highrock as she noticed Sunstar and Fernleaf talking. Must be a patrol.

Tigerwhisker looked up from grooming himself and noticed Gingertree, who looked quite bored.
He stood up and padded over to her, dipping his head as he sat down beside the she-cat.
"Greetings, Gingertree," he meowed, following the she-cat's gaze to Sunstar.
"I hope you get sent out for a patrol. I can see how antsy you are."

Perking up at the sound of her name Gingertree nodded to the tom, hoping so as well. "Hello to you as well Tigerwhisker." She started, glancing to Sunstar before back to the time. "I do hope so. Hawkwing said something earlier about waiting for the rain to stop, but Sunstar might be sending patrols out anyway, we can't wait all day for the rain." She added wondering why the deputy had suggested waiting anyway. It wasn't up to her to decide though and if she didn't get picked for patrol it wouldn't be too bad, her and Cloudpaw manage to get a lot of fresh kill that morning before the rain started. Although she hated to stay in camp and do nothing, the idea of having mud stuck to her pelt again wasn't an appealing one either.

The young tom watched as the she-cat dove back into the undergrowth, sitting up and curling his tail over his paws after watching her leave. "Those clan cats are very strange," He decided before making his way back towards the burned out part of the forest, his mouth open to scent the area along the way. Although he hadn't been in the area much longer than the clan he still knew the forest well and it was weird for him to avoid parts of it to keep from running into the group.

(just gonna restart some of my cats so I can get back into this. finally found some spare time haha)

Nightecho gave a single lighthearted laugh to his apprentice. "Its all right you should've seen me when I first began learning herb names." he said before nodding that she had the right pile. The small black tom began sorting herbs once more, "I find that sorting and resorting helps me remember the names and looks of the herbs," Nightecho said as he carefully plucked old and rotted herbs from their piles.

Hawkwing had finished his meal and looked about the camp for something to do or someone to talk to. Eventually he decided to visit the nursery, quietly poking his head into the den. (open)

Thrushpelt moved about the camp, occasionally shaking rain from his sand colored pelt. (open)

Hawkwing smiled and nodded, greeting the queen, "Just thought I'd pop in to see how the little one was doing." He said quietly, not wanting to disturb the peacefulness of the nursery, "I don't stop in here often." He sat down looking at the young kit before him. "Who do you suppose will be her mentor when she's old enough?"

ends up not sending any we can go hunting ourselves, right?" he meowed. "After
all, we can go out into the forest as much as we please."

Birchpaw looked around for a dry spot to sit. Unfortunately for her, all dry spots were taken. So she decided to sit and watch Fernleaf and Sunstar and attempt to listen in. "Something about keeping busy and leading a patrol. mkay......" She pocked around in the mud, waiting for somebody to notice her.

Ginger tree gave a soft smile before laughing lightly after hearing his comments, "Yes even if we don't get assigned on patrols we can go hunt, there's nothing to keep us from going into the forest." She replied light heartedly.

Birchpaw let out a loud, exadureated sigh. She pushed her paw through the mud, making an array of lines, almost like a grid (although cats don't know what a grid is. I was just using it as a visual. ) than unsheathes her claws and scratches it out. "Uuuuuugggggggghhhhhhh! Can't you hurry uppppppppp" Birchpaw groaned under her breath. She streched out with her paws infront of her and lay her head on them and let out another long, loud sigh.
