Oh no! I looked through some of my old posts — what a time to have known me, man. All the :B C: I was so sassy in some of my posts. My first post is showing as April 2010, I can't really remember most of that time (I do recall infinite Warrior Cats and weirdly the chat boxes (or that might've been before my time or on another site?)).

I do recall only adopting one or two outcomes early on and if I could trade away my duplicates I'd just delete them — rip many of my 2009-2010 pets because I didn't know any better. I also remember trading away my UR Butterfly Wolf for basically nothing — rip me.

Also, did we have CS stickers at one stage? Or do I have imaginitis?

Yes! I used to delete all my surplus pets too when I first started. All those lovely spare 2009 pets. Woe.

There were chatboxes on here for just a little bit. I don't remember when but I think it was a celebration of getting so many members or it being CS's birthday?
They were super laggy and moved so fast from all the people in them haha
After those were taken down people made a lot of xat chatboxes to replace them but all of those have long died out

tfw CS turns 10 next year. 10 years. This is so weird to think about in general. When I joined I certainly didn't expect to stick around for such a long time - it's longer than I've been active on any other site.

Wait, what? No.. it was like, 8 years yesterday.... How did it get to be 10 already? Well, I guess this is the longest site I've been active at too.

It's the longest site I've stayed active on too. 10 years old next year and I've been along for the ride for most of the time. Absolutely crazy x.X
I cannot believe how big part of my life CS has been, not even a single hiatus longer than like a week. That's nuts. I legitimately don't know how I'd react if CS was ever shot down.

I remember not quite understanding that I should adopt as many of the pets as I was able to, lol. So I only adopted one or two of each pet, and then realized much later down the road that that was a terrible mistake, especially as those 08s became so coveted x_x

I also remember that adopting multiple pets was kind of a pain since you had to do it one at a time/refresh a bunch xD

I did that too! Only adopted one of every pet because I didn't realize there were different outcomes.

I also started playing in September and didn't even realize I needed to make an account until October, as you can see. I still have links to all my September pets that aren't linked to my account.

Wow, reading through these last couple pages has made me so nostalgic! I can't believe I have been on here for 9 years this month! In that time I completed my collection many times, was an oekaki moderator for 5 years, own a custom pet, and have 4500+ posts. Plus I made so many friends, including all the wonderful staff on this site, and have never found a place that kept me coming back this long.

The crazy thing is, my life outside CS hasn't been slow either, during these years I married my best friend, I graduated college with a bachelors degree, I have held a full time plus job where I am most recently an office manager, and I truly became independent. Yet here I am on CS still and that amazes me because I am not a person to stick with things for a long time.

CS has become a part of my life, and after going on a hiatus for quite a long time while I retired from modding, I realized I couldn't stay away. I just missed this place so much. I will never be able to be on here all the time like I had from 08-11 because everyday life, but this place is a home for me and I enjoy being a quiet observer. <3

& I guess I really am a CS elder, Both here and becoming a real life elder in person compared to most on here as I am becoming middle aged soon! O_O
