Dawnsong ears dropped slightly when she wasn't called on patrol with Flameheart. Although the young warrior wasn't going to let that stop her from her duties. Hearing about the foxes though made her a little worried for her clan mate and made a mental note to look out for them. She also made a note to keep an eye on Ripplepaw but usually the apprentice was good it seemed. The she-cat stood up and started looking for her apprentice so they could be ready to head out. She spotted her apprentice and headed over to the tom with a soft smile on her face.

Rowanfang nodded in agreement, although he was a little surprised by the news of the foxes. Foxes weren't surprising but he just hadn't expect the news. The tabby stood up and went to find and put together his patrol so they could get out. Rowanfang wanted to get out and stretch his legs but also wanted to make sure the foxes was gone. Last thing the clan needed was to be attacked by such dangerous threats but at least it wasn't badgers.

Buttermilk shrugged to herself, not really hearing what was going on. She yawned and dragged herself back into the den and plopped down in nest and laid her head down. Buttermilkwish laid awake in case somthing else happened.

The blind, black cat huffed a bit, then nodded when he heard his leader. He sighed softly, as he stood to stretch, then growled a bit to himself as he flattened his ears. Sighing, he headed for the scent of Squirrelpaw, and stopped himself before he bumped into her. "Little one, would you like to do something with me?"

He sighed, as he looked at the leader. His pelt prickled, and he shook himself once he stood up. He sighed again, as he nodded at the older male, not really paying much attention though, as he felt eyes on him...Looking back, he noticed Squirrelpaw was glaring at him. "Great...She hates me now!" he hissed.

The Tortie huffed a bit, as her ears flattened at the thought of foxes getting in here...Shaking herself, she huffed a bit as she stood and stretched a moment. Glancing over, her eyes caught on her mentor. "Rowanfang!" she called, as she bounded over to him.


[Here's a question: Should I be bad and have Blackriver sneak himself and Squirrelpaw out of camp because he is a bit irritated and wants to go, or should I not cause that much drama?]

Scarface sighed heavily, not surprised that he was left in camp. He was scarred and partially blind, so why would they want him out searching anyway? He would probably only get himself killed.

"Come on, lets go to a corner and practice some hunting moves." He said dejectedly as he led LIttlepaw away from the group for some training.

Rowanfang ears perked as his apprentice called out to him and he turned his head to look at the young tortoiseshell. "Lakepaw, make sure you stick close to me when we go out, okay?" He asked Lakepaw although he look on his face showed that it wasn't really a question. He didn't want the apprentice to become prey to the foxes if they still lurked around. Rowanfang didn't always showed he cared but he did deep down and he wouldn't forgive himself if something happened to Lakepaw. She was proving to be a great cat with much potential and life in her and he would hate to see that gone. Not to mention she was his apprentice so he was sort of had a connection to her like most mentors and apprentices do.
