Can I add you on Discord?
The reason I don't post my discord here is because I only extend it out to those I talk to a lot on here! It gets to the point of: "We gotta stop clogging each others pms!" Therefore when it comes to off-site art discussion they will be done through email~ (ultimately I check emails way more frequently than I will for CS or Discord.)

What art program do you use?
I'm super old school and still use Paint Tool Sai ;; I haven't downloaded any brush packs so I use my own personal pen settings. I definitely do not recommend Sai because it only provides the basics of all art programs and not all the fancy jazz that Procreate or Clip Studio Paint would have LOL

What's your drawing process?
I draw from top-to-bottom, so starting with the hair first then face expression/eyes, and continuing downwards to shoulders, legs, etc. I also do not sketch AT ALL, so my line art IS my sketch and I'd colour that in. But because I have to send progress and pose approvals here I have to force myself to scribble something instead of getting right to it. My colouring process is horrendous, with lots of clipping layers starting with an airbrush blend of light to dark colours and then erasing it for hard shading/lighting and my personal marker and blend tool for soft shading/lighting.

Your art improves so fast within a few months! How?
Haha I wish! My earlier commissions of 2024 were not as detailed for a number of reasons!

Firstly, I was doing PWYW so the quality of art I produced/the time I spent on each commission was entirely dependent on the offer. I'm super willing to do art for anyone interested in my shop, so if there's a sudden reduction or increase in quality from the lines/pose/rendering it's solely due to that reason. Now that I have a feel for the art market on CS I'm comfortable with putting set prices on my art, but to tell the truth I'm not strict about prices at all and am happy to negotiate <3!

Secondly, I spend more time and effort on characters that are fun to draw based on their colours or clothes!! I also love drawing long hair (probably why lots of customers request female ocs!) and expressive faces/poses! The colours of that character matters a lot since I'm only able to do dynamic shading/lighting for characters that are bright/saturated.
