It's usually around two weeks. There will be a lot of announcements on the front page when the event is ending.

I do this already, tokens are not what I meant. I'm looking more for tips on trading others for their event pets, or what I should do if I wanted to get every event pet. Thank you, though!

Ah, my bad. I suggest waiting after the event, so there's less hype for the pets so they will be easier to achieve.
