How do I get pearls?

I have a question. Do you guys prefer Token hoarding or do you spend tokens as soon as you get them? Is there a method that works better? I'm currently trying to figure out what I should do with my tokens, so I thought I'd ask. Thanks for the help!!

I recommend hoarding. It sucks when you spend all your tokens on a pet you like only to have one come later on that you like better. Pets/items are available to buy throughtout the event, and do not disappear until the event ends, so there's no rush!
