Where have you guys been finding items (what kind of forums?)

They can show up anywhere! My usual hunting strategy is to go to a random thread and type a bunch of random numbers into the url, it sends you to an error page which loads quickly and you can see if there's a banner without scrolling.

... or you can go in the archives and surf...

If you find random junk and it doesn't seem to be useful, check if it's in the "event tokens" item tab could be useful later

I mean I try.
I tell myself I'll hoard them.
And then I spend them.
I usually hoard for a whole day, then spend a few at rollover.
I also save and get one of each trade outcome, then at the end when I have spare I trade them all in.

But yay I love this event!
I'll wait 5 minutes to get my next banner, then I'm off to sleep.

i spend them right away until I get all or most of the day's outcomes. Then afterwards I start saving. 😅

I think saving up works and I find it easier to swap outcomes at the start too. If you get extras and are missing some.

I recommend hoarding. It sucks when you spend all your tokens on a pet you like only to have one come later on that you like better. Pets/items are available to buy throughtout the event, and do not disappear until the event ends, so there's no rush!
