I hope it's okay I bumped up Pann's age a couple of moons to actually fit with the birth month I gave him! I just realised I misread my little table of ages corresponding to months, and I want the reason he's so cynical about everything to basically be that everyone was nasty to him as a kit due to his birth month (people being affected by the zodiac sign in terms of family planning is a legit thing, as is stigma against certain birth groups*), and I just realised I got it wrong! So I was bumping up to match. I'm assuming bumping up is better than bumping down.

*Did have a link here, but an ad keeps appearing at the bottom advertising a book with swearing in the title, so... just google "Chinese birth rates rising with zodiac signs" and you'll quickly get the point
