This seems like a real difficult pair! Haha I don't get how he would be black though, I just barely got how the dominate white genetics are and even then it is just to confusing!

It was an incredibly difficult pair!! I myself am not so sure if he's actually black... I have no idea how bengal genetics work. I tried to look it up but they only showed phenotypes (what they're called rather then the genetics) so I didn't know if that colour on him was actually genetically black.

But since black cats when tabbied are brown I just decided to go for it. I didn't know what other colour he'd be. Definitely not ginger, and chocolate and cinnamon don't seem to work as his rosettes were blackish.

Haha, sorry you feel that way about the genetics!! It's really not that bad though. I find it's ALOT simpler than dog or horse genetics. It's even more simpler when your working with non-purebred cats that don't exhibit special genes like that bengel pattern or smoke, or sepia ect.
Basically all it is when dealing with every-day street cats is fur-length, tabby patterns, white spotting, and the fur colour.

Hey!! I'm willing to do some of these genetics things as well!! :) Just as good as @deimos!
Just tag me and send me the pics of the kitty's. I'll need to know some genetic background on them.

If your cat is Ginger ... Tell me if they're solid, or a mackerel tabby. (If visibly Classic it's not needed - clearly they're tabby)

If a cat is short-haired but bred to a long ... Tell me if the short-haired cat carries long-hair.

If a cat is dense (black, red, non-dilute) but is bred to a dilute (Grey, cream) ... Tell me if the dense cat carries dilute.

If a cat is tabbied but bred to a solid ... Tell me if the tabby cat carries solid.

If any of your cats are fully-white ... Tell me what they'd look like without the white.

If breeding Blacks (blue/grey), Chocolates (lilac), Cinnamons (fawn) ect. together ... Tell me what they carry, if anything. Chocolate, Cinnamon or their dilute forms: Lilac & Fawn.

If a cat is Ginger and bred to anything but a black or it's dilute form blue/grey ... Tell me what they are and what they carry, if anything. Black, Chocolate, Cinnamon or their dilute forms: Blue, Lilac & Fawn. If not I'll default to saying your ginger cat is black and not carrying anything.

Hopeclan are very kind, loyal cats and will do anything to protect their clanmates. When angry they will attempt to sort it out with words instead of claws. They are small, lithe cats and prefer brain over bronze.

I think that an apprentice should be sent on a scavenger hunt to prove that they are smart and will use their brain instead of their claws.

Make them find one thing to test each skill they have:
A specific price of prey
A specific flower
A specific herb that is used for general healing (like cobwebs or marigold)
A specific river stone to test swimming
A specific leaf to test climbing

That sort of thing, and the list is made by the leader and mentor together. If they do not succeed in a certain amount of time they have to wait another moon before trying again.

Time for ceremonies at Moonpool once again. I could use help for Blizzardpaw's full medicine cat name and since Sedgepaw will be warrior at the next Moonpool visit for them(more then likely), I'd appreciate a name for her to.

Still looking for suggestions. Just have names that sound pretty are fine.
