Jachin huffed, although he had honestly expected that to be the answer, anyway. "Fine, bed's big enough for two," he said reluctantly, walking into the bedroom. "I won't make you sleep on the floor," he added teasingly. "Y'know, like you were gonna make me do." Despite his snide remark, he was grateful for Kodi's change of heart.

Kodi nodded and followed him in. "Can I trust you to stay away from my gear or will I need to sleep in it all?" He asked him curiously as they walked into the bedroom. "I can still make you sleep on the floor." He teased him, as he stretched out.

"Do what you want, I'm too tired to care. Can't say that'd be too comfortable, though," he shrugged, kicking his shoes off. Jachin flopped straight down onto the right side of the bed, not bothering with his own clothes. "Please don't make me sleep on the floor," he added, staring up at the ceiling.

Kodi nodded and took off his gear, placing it on the side table close to him just in case. He laid down on the bed after taking his boots off and he stared up at the ceiling as well. "Is there really any point in this whole cat and mouse game? Villains and heros?" He murmured.

Jachin closed his eyes, resting while he listened as Kodi took his gear off and got onto the bed. He opened his eyes again and looked over at Kodi when he spoke. "I mean, it would'a just been villains if you hadn't interfered," he pointed out with a cheeky grin.

Kodi chuckled and looked at him. "I am not no hero. I am just a normal man with supernatural abilities who needed something interesting in his life and decided to see if saving the world was a nice job. It's quite boring actually." He chuckled. "Nobody else offers to help and they only blame you if something goes wrong." He shrugged.

"Time for a change of career, then?" Jachin suggested, shifting around a bit so that he was laying on his back with his hands under his head, fingers entwined. "Just become an actual cop. You'd get help then, I guess."

"I thought about trying that but there were two problems." Kodi explained to him with a sigh. "I have too much of a reckless personality so I would turn to the dark side for the right price." He explained to him. "And two, the other cops would feel threatened by my abilities." He added.

"Ooh, now that's interesting," he answered, tilting his head to look at Kodi again. "There's some good money in what I do," Jachin said, nodding his head at the room as an example. "Not that I'm trying to get you to turn to the dark side, as you put it. I promised I'd be good, didn't I?" he snickered.

"Oh, I am not looking for money." Kodi explained as he looked at him. "Yes, stop being so tempting. You are suppose to be on your best behaviour..." He explained to him. "Or do I need to break out the cuffs again?" He asked him with a playful smile now upon his face.
