"Oh, great," he huffed, looking anywhere but at Kodi. "That makes me feel so much better. I really, really cannot wait to go."

Jachin stared up at the ceiling, listening to Kodi as he spoke. What he would give to be asleep at home right now. "I'd say it's nice to meet you, Kodi, but it really isn't," he answered. He may be too tired to use his powers, but he wasn't too tired to lose his snarky, hostile attitude.

Kodi chuckled. "You may be tired enough not to be able to use your abilities but I guess you will never lose your charming personality." He explained to him as he watched him tiredly. "I am so tired I am just half tempted to let you go..." He yawned tiredly as he laid his head back on the concrete.

"Oh, you're right. At least I'll always have that," Jachin answered, shooting Kodi a half-grin. Realising he was smiling at the person who was technically his enemy, he looked away again and pinched the bridge of his nose, before looking out at Kodi again through tired eyes. "Ooh, go on then, let me go. I just want to go to bed, not kill anybody."

Kodi looked over at him with tired eyes. "I don't know if I can trust you." He spoke with a small laugh. "How about we compromise? We go to your place so we can both go to bed but I can make sure you do not get up to mischief and I can catch you as soon as you try and escape..." He suggested with a yawn.

Jachin looked at Kodi in surprise. He certainly hadn't been expecting that suggestion, but he wasn't about to protest. It wasn't like he had been planning on getting up to any mischief in the near future, anyway. "Deal," he nodded, slowly getting to his feet. "I promise I'll be good," Jachin added, showing him an innocent smile.

Kodi chuckled. "I guess I will need to trust you." He spoke helping him up and holding the hand cuffs. "Lead the way..." He teased him as he walked behind him, keeping him in his eye sight just in case.

Jachin nodded and stepped outside, leading the way back out of the building. Once outside it took him a few moments to remember which way they had come, but eventually he got his bearings and started to head back towards his apartment. As they neared the building, he paused and glanced back at Kodi. "Don't suppose you picked up the key, did you?" Jachin asked. He hadn't remembered to grab the key in his haste to get away from Kodi earlier.

Kodi nodded as he looked at Jachin and pull the keys out of his pocket. "I grabbed it, just in case I needed to get back in." He explained to him as he unlocked the door and lead him into the place. He unlocked his handcuffs and released him. "Anyplace in particular you want me to sleep?" He asked him.

"Good, I didn't want to have to break into my own home," he answered, following Kodi inside and then standing still while he took the handcuffs off. Once his hands were free, Jachin stretched out his arms and gave a relieved sigh. They had really begun to ache after a while.

"Uh, you can take the couch, I guess," Jachin replied, turning around to look at Kodi when he spoke. "Unless you have to keep an eye on me," he snorted, shooting a glance towards his bedroom.

"That would have been interesting to watch." Kodi commented as he attached the cuffs back to his belt. He nodded. "I have to keep an eye on you, just in case Jachin. You are still a flight risk." He explained to him.
