"Are you crazy? We are already in enough trouble, and now you want to expand that?" Moonlight growled hiding their kits from their father's view. She wanted him to be calm before he saw the kits.

Skykit whimpered and buried her nose in her mother's fur once the she-cat laid down with her kits. Skykit listened to her mother's voice, and slowly fell asleep.

With a huff he scrambled up. Lashing his tail he walked over to the nursery. 'Woolystar-RedTail' he said glancing at the two and ignoring everyone else.' I am not welcome in this clan. I am looked down upon at all times as if I cannot preform my duty as a warrior. My litter mates are praised and I am left to rot-this is how it always has been and always will be. I'll lift my burden off your shoulders and leave this retched clan. ' he said bravely without skipping a beat. He turned around and paused. 'I'm no longer your curse-Not for now, that is. Watch your back' he said lowly. His voice was smooth and threatening. It was more than enough to send shivers down her spine and he didn't regret it. Tinyflare moved without mistake out of the camp. He expected nobody to look twice.

Tortoise smiled, feeling welcome. He picked up a plump vole from the fresh kill pile and ate the delicious meat quickly. His hunger was satisfied after he finished eating the vole and he licked his lips. "Is Mint the leader of Mintclan?" Tortoise said in a questioning tone.

"I didn't notice, you didnt look like a warrior" Dew said slowly, trying not to sound insulting. She sat down at the entrance and groomed her rough pelt, untangling her fur as she waited for the warrior to come back. It was sure a struggle to get through her great mass of fur. She got up and inched closer to the camp entrance, sniffing through the tangle of scents in the camp.

"I haven't been up to much this morning, just lazing around under the sun." Stonepelt shuffled his paws and finally said "It would be nice if I had an apprentice to train."

Mint listened to the tom, her mind once again traveling to the chances of an attack. They hadn't done anything to anger the other clan, but there was no telling what they would do. Mintclan was new and they may see them as weak, something they could easily push aside."I think you would make a splendid mentor. Once there are kits we can talk about this more, but there is still time before that happens."

A satisfied kitten purr escaped Blackkit as he attempted to return his mother's lick as she passed over him. He knew she'd be back. Nothing to worry about. Curling up with his sisters and brother as he had the previous night, Blackkit curled himself against Moonlight's soft pelt.

The spotted brown cat had just started his search around the perimeter when he came face to face.....or rather paw to nose....with another cat. Cheetahfang just blinked several times in surprise. He knew he should be angry, for as poor as it was he was just attacked, and should pin the second feline down demanding answers or making an example out of it for Dew. Normally he would have. But thats not what he ended up doing. Instead of using the cat as an example, the tomcat did lunge forward and sink his teeth into it.....but gently as he would carry a kit by the scruff. A misbehaving kit perhaps yet a kit none the less. Cheetahfang carried the intruder back towards Swanrock and Dew. "Swanrock I've got things here, can you go get Redpelt? I last saw him headed towards the nursery.", he said casually through a mouthful of fur.

The warrior chuckled, "I'm sure, especially since it looks like we just keep getting more. You and your siblings started a stampede it seems." After a moment Whitefoot sat down and curled his tail about his paws, "Though one more moon and you and your littermates won't have to worry about crowded nests anymore. You'll be sharing with Brownpaw, Wolfpaw and Kyogrepaw in the apprentice den. Then you'll have brand new complaints."

Dropletpool watched as Tinyflare got up and left her abruptly. After a moment in the nursery, the tomcat started to head for the camp exit. The shecats ears twitched on alert as she followed the warrior wondering what he was up to.

"I didnt suppose they were very strange, they were awfully nice" She said a bit quieter, defending the cat who brung him here. "They said a bunch of other cats like me are in this clan, so i thought i would fit in well" Tortoise said with a smile. He sat down with his ears lightly pressed, but that didn't stop his mood from dropping.

"Put that cat down!" Dew hissed at the warrior. "He's obviously looks old enough to carry himself" She grunted and flicked her tail towards the cat. Dew cringed at the warrior holding the cat, imagining how painful it would have felt. "You cat's disgust me" She muttered to herself with a sigh following. She was glad she didnt attempt to join the clan, it would've been a pity.

Stonepelts ears pressed against his head. He could tell Mint was concerned about being attacked by the other clan. "Don't worry about another clan attacking us." Stonepelt purred. "If they do, we can fight back.. We may not have the strongest cats, but that's fine, it takes time to perfect clan life." He smiled lightly. "It's an honor to know i'll make a great mentor, especially from the leader"
