Kuboki gazed across the seemingly endless plains, her ears swiveling from each direction. She turned to each of the herd members before trotting off down towards a pleasing trickle. Her eyes lit up at the sight, a small, elegant stream that churned and bubbled tauntingly. She leapt down the small incline, bowing her head to gulp down the refreshing liquid that soothed her parched throat. After retrieving her broad head, she walked steadily back up to the herd, looking for anyone to speak with.

Azumi turned to look at the beautiful mare, silently studying her before neighing with a hint of sadness. "I'm sure you need to be getting back to your herd. And i probably should be moving on.."He exhaled in a sigh, flicking his tail. While he was enjoying the time spent with this mare, he knew she most likely was needed in her herd. His eyes showed just how sad he was. He realized just how much he liked this mare, but it could never be. They only just met after all? He was a loner,
she wouldn't allow him in her herd. What use would he be to her. Sure, he was fairly quick and muscular but there were other stallions in her herd he was sure. Ones that were stronger and much more worthy of being hers then he would be.

As Flint was enjoying his gallop, he was alarmed by a sharp whinny. Although tempted to continue his run he thought it best to inquire about this. He followed after the noise, coming upon a distressed mare flailing helplessly on the ground, resembling a fish out of water. The sight was amusing but from the frantic fear on the horses face, he soon realized this wasn't as silly to her as it was to him. He trotted over calmly, silently nosing his muzzle underneath her shoulder, lifting her slightly so he could slide his front hooves underneath her bodice. He shoved forward, allowing the mare onto her hooves. He wondered why the mare had such trouble getting up? Perhaps waking up in that position just scared her and she couldn't think straight enough to fix herself. With a shrug he neighed quizzically "Hello.. Um-You alright miss?"He spoke softly, his long, black mane draping over his eyes as they stared into hers.

Cherokee's ears drooped in disappointment. She had really liked this stallion, and wished he could stay a little longer. Then,
she thought, "Hey! Why don't you join the herd? Well, I mean if you want to?"She asked, hoping that he would agree.

As much as a i like hanging out with you, i've never been in a herd so i'm not totally sure. But who knows. He bolted up a incline, the wind fingering through his mane, soon after halting among the herd. He looked down shyly, hoping not to be a threat to anyone.

Cherokee smiled as Azumi bolted towards the herd. She too broke out into a harsh gallop, following after the incredibly fast stallion. Cherokee halted beside Azumi, sensing that he was uncertain. "Don't worry! They'll love you! Why don't you go introduce yourself?" Cherokee asked, as she affectionately nudged the stallions muscular flank. Cherokee grazed and swished her tail, scaring away a pesky fly who landed on her leg. She snorted encouragingly.

Azumi's confidence returned when the mare spoke to him. He smiled at her, trotting off to introduce himself. After awhile he returned to the mares side, a grin on his muzzle as he nuzzled her."Everyone is nice. Except for the stallions. Heh. But thats to be expected. Where's the lead stallion?"He neighed, glancing around for any notable stallion. He was slightly worried if there was one, because they might not like him here. And that would mean Cherokee had a stallion already. He feared he might have to fight the horse, but he saw no male in significance.

Cherokee followed him to graze on the bittersweet grass. Cherokee lifted her head to view her herd, but she was then drawn to a appaloosa mare in the distance, struggling to get up. She snorted at Azumi to get his attention, then trotted towards the mare.
She halted several feet away from her. She saw scars covering all four of her legs, and began to worry. "Are you okay?"

He noticed a black stallion was there as well, with unusual curled ears. He glanced between the horses quizzically.
