nickjr did mention that there were a lot of the colors october litter floating around, so I can see why they were overlooked :O

The Upcoming Rarity Change Discussion thread is meant for that, although people don't really use that thread for discussing pets that should have a rarity change.

Thanks, I just realized that the thread for posting rarity changes actually might have what I'm looking for
You can also take a look at the rarity changes archive, but it hasn't been updated in a while: viewtopic.php?f=20&t=485908

Rerelease 2010 Data: https://www.dropbox.com/s/8ttk4x8sicp4u ... .xlsx?dl=0
(names/images here -- All currently released pets have been added)

Looks like the UR Tiger, UR Rat, and UR Grapes had about the same probability of being adopted, while the UR Malk had a bit less. Also:
% chance of adopting 2010 UR > 2009 UR > 2008 UR
In 2009, there was a similar pattern of 2009 UR > 2008 UR.

I'll be doing 2011 next, so we'll see if this pattern still holds :P

That UR data is particularly interesting if URs have indeed seen an increased chance of being adopted. If the UR Malk does indeed end up having a confirmed lower chance of being adopted than the UR Tiger, that would mean some big shifts in the future list. The plot thickens.

@nickjr & Solloby
Solloby had created a visual report for the August data we had collected earlier in the summer that covered a lot of the things we wanted to cover. The data has obviously changed somewhat since then, but that report could be a great reference for how we want to set up our final reports. Solloby, would you mind sharing with us what program you used to make it? Someone (or a team of people) could put together a template while the data is being collected. Once we have all the data, we could split up the data among helpers to fill in the reports.

That actually doesn't surprise me at all about the tiger, rat & grapes having the same or similar probability of being adopted, the UR rat turned OMGSR at the same time as the tiger and the grapes only 2 months later, which when you're talking about such rare pets could mean a difference at the time of just one or two pets.

I wasn't active the last couple of months so missed this thread but have you got the stats for the '08 URs? I suspect you'll find the UR BWolf & UR Mint have around the same probability as the tiger, rat & grapes with the other OMGSR URs not far behind. I could be wrong but I suspect the OMGSR URs are released with the intention of being as close as possible to equal in availability, and possibly get tweaked each year to try to maintain that equality, will be very interesting to see if that's the case.

You guys are doing a fantastic job gathering all this data & I for one am very grateful for the work you're putting into it! I wish I could help but honestly have no idea how and suspect it'd probably be a case of too many cooks spoil the broth.

I'm going back to school in a few weeks so I'm busy right now preparing for that but I can still pop in relatively frequently until school starts

I was busy prepping for then collecting stuff from the event, my bad!! Where are we up to again? Analysing the data? Or do we need more rerelease counts to see whether the original percentages are maintained or ignored. If they are ignored, idk how that impacts trade values outside of it bringing their values closer together each year?

Hope everyone had a fun summer event!

Just collected the rerelease data from 2011. I decided to get more samples (23k) because there were so many possible outcomes. I'm still not sure if its enough, but I can always more ^_^

Spreadsheet links (with sampled ID range)
2008: 810000 to 820000
2009: 7270000 to 7310000
2010: 25432641 to 25631198
2011: 54673270 to 54831930
