The young mare wanders alone along a ridge, ears perked up for sounds of other horses. "Cloudy, I think my name should have been clumsy!" the mare sighs to herself as she trips over a rabbit hole, her foot sinking right into the entrance. Picking her feet up and paying attention to where she was stepping now, the creamy mare begins running down the side of the ridge, having heard horses a short ways off in the distance. She was running towards them, she didn't usually like running towards horses but she needed companionship in this time of need for her.

A small grulla filly lays curled up in the back of a nice cozy and warm cave in the side of a ridge. She hears horses nearby,
and a horse running down the ridge next to the cave where she was curled up. Keeping out of the light the young filly looks out of the mouth of the cave, watching a cream mare with black patches on her body run past. Snorting quietly to herself the filly lays her head back down and tries again to fall asleep.
