Honeystar grinned at the news. "Thank Starclan for that--and the kits! Things have been going well for us, but Cherryclaw and Hillpaw have come bearing news that their clans have disbanded." She stiffened when she saw Emberstar and hissed slightly. "I hope she didn't bring Frigidrose again," she said.

Birchnose nodded. "Well, if we weren't deputies, we wouldn't be here," she said, tail thumping to indicate their spot. "How are things for you? The last Gathering was rather...interesting."

Crowcloud spotted Brindlecloud as he walked into the Gathering and made his way over to her. "How have things been in Echoclan?" he asked.

"Nice to meet you too," Dustleaf replied. "Applenose might have introduced us, a few Gatherings back. How's Duskpaw? He was here the last Gathering. And how're things in Caveclan?"

Cherryclaw nodded. "I'm new to Forestclan," she said. She hesitated before speaking again. "I used to come from Aspenclan but..." She trailed off, not wanting to recount what had happened. Everyone had fled, and she didn't know where her former clanmates were. "How are things for you?"

Mila nodded with a small smile. Kits were adorable! And Forestclan had seven. She wanted to know who the "he" Mintdew was referring to, but from the other's expression, thought it would be inappropriate to ask. "Eta akay," she said, before hastily switching to English. "It's okay. How arre things going in yourr clan? Forestclan currently has seven kits." she said with a small chuckle. "Two differrent litterrs, but one litterr is almost rready to become apprrentices."

Hillpaw was nervous for her first-ever Gathering. Oakheart had encouraged her to mingle with apprentices from other clans and she could see him sitting under a tree, relaxing and watching. She looked away and wandered further into the clearing. There was so much space!

She saw a pair of cats that looked to be her age and padded over to them. "Umm, hi?" she said uncertainly. "I'm, uh, Hillpaw of Forestclan."

When Mila does the "rr", that's the equivalent of rolling her "r"s. Also, switching from Russian to English is a very real thing; I do it all the time.

Morningstar eyes widened slightly. So cats from disbanded clans had been coming to Forestclan too? "Several cats from disbanded clans have come to join Caveclan too. It's worrying." He frowned, eyeing Emberstar coolly. "She'd be mad to bring her back!"

"True." Woolyfur grinned. "Caveclan's been good. Plenty of new kits have been born and several cats from disbanded clans have joined." He nodded in agreement, frowning slightly. "Ebonywing was spitting mad after we left. She couldn't believe Emberstar didn't believe Duskpaw."

"Uh er you too," Cloudpool replied. "Caveclan's good. And how is Leafclan?" His voice was wary, unwilling to divulge too much information when their two clans were acting like this.

When Cherryclaw mentioned Aspenclan, the mollies exchanged another glance. "Three of your clanmates came to join Caveclan. Cloudmask, Pinetail, and Minkear." Silvernose informed her, eyes softening. Shimmerpelt blinked quietly at her. "They're safe and just settling in. Leaving your only home can be awful but they're getting along nicely."
(They aren't officially part of the clan but oh well xd)

Mottledshade + Pigeonflight are open

Mottledshade and Pigeonflight strolled through the crowd, tails twined as the searched for a place to sit. Kits always made the pair feel happy but today's news had been especially wonderful. Lilystem and Larkfeather's large litters left the pair thinking wistfully of the days when Poppypaw and Stormpaw were kits. Of course the pair were very proud of their apprentices but Mottledshade was the type of cat who adored kits. She was never happier than when she was looking after kits. And of course, Pigeonflight adored being a father.
The pair eventually found a comfortable spot to rest and lay down, Mottledshade tucking her paws comfortably beneath her.

Tigerjaw nodded. "Probably but it's been moons." He agreed. "Duskpaw's fine. By the time every cat got home from that gathering, he'd calmed down. He's excited about the new kits in the clan."

- ( Mintstar : open ) Gatherings had never been Mintstar's strong suit, the PineClan leader never felt comfortable being surrounded by so many different cats from other Clans who all had their eyes on her. But she knew it wasn't wise to shy away from such an important event, so once again she steeled herself before signaling for all her cats to join the others in the clearing while she headed towards where the other leaders were seated and sat with her tail curled over her paws.

- ( Daisystorm : open ) The ginger molly's bright blue eyes widened in excitement as she drank in the sight of everything in the Gathering, up until now, she had yet to experience coming to one herself and could could only imagine what it was like just by descriptions alone. But from what she could glean from descriptions, it felt way too formal for her liking, she'd rather sit back and mingle then listen to StarClan knows how many leaders talk about their Clans. She wanted to spend her first Gathering having some fun.

Rimestar led her clan to the clearing with her head held high. This was the first gathering that Verglasclan had had a chance to attend, and the leader was determined to make a good first impression with the other leaders and clans. The black-and-white she-cat paused for a moment, turning back to shoot Finchpaw, Palepaw, and Hazelpaw a stern look. She had almost kept the apprentices at camp due to their poor behavior, but eventually decided that it would be better to have a large group of cats at the gathering, even if it meant that the three young cats would be attending. Rimestar gave Mallowpath a quick lick on the cheek before plunging into the clearing, headed straight for the Great Rock.

Mallowpath smiled slightly when Rimestar licked his cheek, but it lasted only a moment. He wasn't just at this gathering to socialize; he was determined to portray Verglasclan in the most positive light possible. However, he could not for the life of him figure out where to start. For now, the deputy decided to simply wander through the crowd, listening in on other cats' conversations and taking note of anything important.

Littlerain froze as Verglasclan approached the clearing. He had never seen so many cats in one place. His chest clenched in terror, and his breathing became ragged. Ashenstep seemed to notice, for she halted her conversation and gave him a concerned look. "Are you okay..? the she-cat asked cautiously. "Just a bit nervous," he admitted, though that was a severe understatement. "Of what?" Ashenstep laughed lightly. "They're just cats. It's not like they're out to kill you or something. Besides, I bet no-one's even looking at you." Yeah right, Littlerain thought grimly. He could practically feel the dozens of eyes staring straight at him, although he didn't dare to look up and check. "Just relax!" Ashenstep mewed before bounding off with Egretpool. The medicine cat tried in vain to swallow the lump in his throat. He knew that at some point he would have to talk to the medicine cats of other clans. Maybe if he skirted around the outside of the clearing... But the crowd jostled his small form, and before he could do anything about it, he was in the middle of the throng of cats. It took a gargantuan amount of effort just to force his legs to move further into the crowd instead of running, but by some miracle, he managed to reach where a group of medicine cats was forming. He said nothing, however, only kept his head low and his eyes trained on the ground.

Egretpool and Ashenstep padded into the clearing side-by-side. For two cats that had loathed each other only a couple moons prior, they were nearly inseparable. Egretpool couldn't keep herself from gaping at the massive clearing, and Ashenstep was unable to stop commenting on the sheer number of cats there were. It was very evident that this was both cats' first gathering. They didn't leave each other's side one, and wandered through the crowd practically as one.

Sparkfur scowled as he padded into the clearing. He had been looking forward to his first gathering as a member of Verglasclan, but Birdbrook wouldn't leave him alone. He had tried several times to slip away into the crowd, but she was insistent that they stay together. When he spotted Swiftfern, a wave of anger flowed through him at first before he realized that this was his opportunity to ditch his sister. "Look! It's Swiftfern!" he mewed to Birdbrook, finally slipping away. At last, the tom was free to roam through the crowd as he wished.

Birdbrook was thrilled to be allowed to attend the gathering. It only had been several moons since Aspenclan had disbanded, but she was already aching to see her former classmates again. It wasn't that she wasn't loyal to Verglasclan — She just wasn't quite ready to say goodbye to her old life. Relief flooded through her the instant her brother pointed out Swiftfern. Birdbrook immediately padded up to her mother with a wide smile. "Mom?" she mewed cautiously.

Finchpaw, Palepaw, and Hazelpaw padded into the clearing side by side. Finchpaw's ears were pricked in eager anticipation as she led the small group into the clearing. Palepaw was grinning excitedly as he peered around. Hazelpaw gazed around wide-eyed at the many cats that surrounded them. The youngest of the three apprentices couldn't help but peer around for his siblings. He hadn't seen any of them since Blueclan's fall, and only hoped that they were alright.

(Tagged: Rimestar) Powderstar walked up to Rimestar. "Hello, I am Powderstar. My clan is Stemclan. Who might you be?" she said.

(Tagged: Burningclaw) Troutgrass approached one of the deputies sitting by herself. (Burningclaw) "Hello, there. I am Troutgrass. I'm the deputy of Stemclan. Who are you?" His tone was friendly, because he did not want to make any enemies just yet.

(Tagged: Medicine Cats) Strawberryfall went over to where the other medicine cats were, introducing himself. He had never been to any gatherings.

Spiderstar jumped up on the high rock, looking around curiously. He wanted to see if he could find the leader of Specklepaw and Beetlepaw's clan... But he didn't manage to.

With Specklepaw leading, the two apprentices began walking around camp, looking desperately for a glimpse of their parents, or brother, or at least someone else from their old clan...

The tom looked around as he arrived at the gathering, finally deciding to go where he and Ravenfeather had become mates all these moons ago... He found the place occupied by two cats, who seemed to quite like each other too. He still walked over. "hello." he greeted them politely.

loststar mentally made a note. this...ravenstar, he thought, had a small clan. small and new, something that could work to his advantage. "lostclan is doing fine." loststar replied smoothly, not giving away anything but still trying to keep an open aura.

burningclaw looked up at the tom, her eyes wide and innocent. "hello there, i'm burningclaw. there's so many cats at one place! have you been here before?" she said, giggling a bit. in her experience, playing incompetent was the easiest way to pry things from others. they didn't see her as a threat, and so they wouldn't be looking when she slashed their throat. she wouldn't say what clan she was from yet, or her rank. she wanted to play with this tom for awhile.

froststar padded into the gathering place, his cold heterochromic eyes scanning the area. which leader would he manipulate first? the white tom carried himself through the clearing, a feeling of mystery and power surrounding him and his cats. leaping onto the highrock beside all of the other leaders, froststar sat down.

an even, steady mew caught tempeststar's ear, and he turned his head. "ah, greetings," he mewed. the she-cat was pretty, not looking too different from swiftfern, and the tip of his tail twitched as he glanced her over, once. "i'd expect as much. after all, my clan has hardly been formed for a moon or so. tempeststar, of tempestclan. it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance." another approaching cat caught his eye, another she-cat, grey-and-white in color with battered ears. she looked uncomfortable, and the tom's whiskers twitched as he wondered. similarly, emberstar didn't look her best, either.

swiftfern looked about, whiskers quivering as she looked over the cats around her. despite her stoic expression, her heart ached, hoping to starclan she would catch sight of those she was looking for. then, her ear twitched, and she whipped around at a familiar voice to see her daughter. emotion welled in her chest, and she steeled her expression as tears burned in her eyes. for a moment, she was silent, before she stepped forward, pressing her nose into birdbrook's ginger neck, unable to contain her relief as a sob escaped her.
