I don't think it's elements as much as it is environments.

Grey = snow
Blue = Water
GReen = Grass
Yellow = Desert
Red = mountains

Yeah I was thinking it was more like that, my guess is

Grey = Snowscape
Blue = beach/oceanfront
green= Forest
Yellow = Dessert
Red = I'm actually torn on this one, it could be a rocky ravine like place (grande canyon-esque?) Or maybe an urban environment like the city considering the geometrical shape on that part of the newborn's blanket.

bit late to the party, but i ended up with three of my rats growing up,
the rest of my dogs grew up from the wing design pups and i've had pretty
good luck with the elemental? dogs, i've had one of each outcome so far,
so i still have about 4 newborns left to go, so hopefully i'll get all of them c:

Okay so I got one of the rats, got the golden pup from the wing litter, and missed the grass pup and only have one more "elemental" newborn left.. I guess I am doing pretty good but the "elemental" litter doesn't look so good to me. Will be having to do some trading.

I have one newborn rat left and it seems people were not interested in shaping the green dog for a newborn...though I got one for one of the red winged dogs. I feel the red winged ones are going to split and kept the green just in case
