"So where'd you come from?" Coleus asked Aquila gently as they made their way back to camp. The beta ducked her head, looking embarrassed. Previously, she had been talkative and friendly, so this sudden change in mood was definitely noted. "I was... actually raised by humans," she admitted bashfully. A moment later, however, she lifted her head defiantly. "But that doesn't mean I'm any less suitable—" "Hey. It's fine," Coleus assured, cutting Aquila's declaration short. "I was too. I get it." The golden retriever's eyes widened slightly in disbelief. She never would have guessed that the alpha had once lived with humans. "What were they like?" Coleus continued. Aquila frowned. "I'd really rather not talk about it..." she muttered uncomfortably. "Right. Of course. It's just my belief that no-one should be ashamed of their background," the alpha explained. "I'm not ashamed," Aquila argued, "I've just moved past it. And I'm not looking to go running back to the humans anytime soon, so can you just shut up and drop it?" she snapped. Coleus' mood flipped in an instant. He stopped walking abruptly. "Excuse me?" he said quietly, though his voice held a hidden power. Aquila backed away, cowering in shame for how she had spoken. "It was nothing. I'm sorry," she murmured, her voice almost inaudible. As soon as the words left her mouth, Coleus' friendly smile returned. "Come along, then. There's much to do," he barked cheerfully. Aquila slowly stood up, bewildered by his abrupt change in attitude, but quickly followed his lead.

Aspen hurtled out of the nursery, a panicked look on her eyes. "Essex!" She howled repeatedly. The long-haired dog poked his head out of his den, a calm look on his face. "Florence is in pain!" Aspen shrieked. Essex disappeared back into his den briefly before coming back out and followed Aspen to the nursery.

Florence was sprawled on her side in her nest, her swollen stomach rising and falling quickly as she panted. Her side rippled slightly and she let out a cry before stiffening for a moment. Essex sat next to her, resting his paw on her flank. "You'll be alright, Florence. I promise."

Chelsea and Victoria sat next to each other outside of the ironteeth den. The pale ginger and white she-dog was helping Victoria groom some of the mats out of her fur. "So were you one of those show dogs?" Chelsea asked, looking up briefly at Victoria before going back to work on a mat.

"Yes. My owners loved putting me in them." Victoria replied, a sad look in her eyes. "I wonder if they even tried to look for me." She grumbled, her tail lashing slightly.

"I'm sure they did, Victoria."

Puffing out her chest, Rerria sat on a branch on the Post and gazed over the empty camp. Soon enough it would be a thriving society of loyal soldiers and packmates. Howling, she leapt down. Her howl was quite high pitched, and it was almost eerie, but when they rest of the kennel came to be they'd probably have high pitched howls as well. They'd be small like her, but mighty. As she prodded out of camp she fantasized proudly. Unfortunately, she stepped on a thorn due to her not paying attention. Now she focused and set out on patrol, hoping to either find prey or another kennel member.

When Bear laid eyes on Kai for the first time, he admitted, he wasn't displeased. At first he expected the akita to tell him that he was sent here to be Bear's beta but.. "The stars sent me to be your shaman." Kai had explained, a placid, rather empty look on his face. Bear had let out a fierce laugh at that, "You? A Shaman? You're kidding." Kai had raised a brow and sat on his haunches with a heavy sigh, "Why would I kid about that..?' the akita rolled his eyes gently which elicited a light growl from Bear, "Don't even try pup. I'm twice your age and I've been surviving on my own for a lot longer. I bet you just left your people. I'm going out." The large akita locked eyes with Bear as if daring the alpha to stop him but Bear said nothing just grunted.

Weather Report: It is a cloudy summer day, the heat has let up some. There is a heavy wind that makes it harder to escape the heavy rain. Thunder booms through the sky just after the flashes of lightning. Humans are not as active in the area as the storm goes on, but there are more dogs in search of shelter from the rain.

The large grey dog found it hard to stalk closer to the large bird he wanted. Their ears were at alert and they heard paw steps coming their way. It gave them an idea and they moved so when the large leonberger dog came through the brushes and scared the bird it had landed right in the grey dog's mouth. Before dropping it at their paws they quickly killed it "I appreciate the help, but I didn't need it." The two stare at each other as the rain pours down around them.

Bear found a loner who just caught a large bird. (You can chose if they are your beta or ironteeth, and the new addition to your prey pile)

After a warm night in a new den, Pandora bonds over to Bear, her eyes bright and her tail wagging she trots with her head held high, So what are we doing today Bear? A hunt? Oh is it a border marking? Or is it a- she is quickly cut of by Aland with a gruff No, we are going on a patrol, while Remi and Baylin go on a hunt.

Troy looked the dog over once again, he seemed like a strong dog and could be helpful in a battle. "I have a group, it is small but it is strong and growing. We could use a dog like you, are you willing to provide strength and protection for your share of food?" Troy asked.

"Sure why not? I am kind of hungry, and most times other animals look the other way for a battle. The name is Butch." The grey Dane woofed as Troy lead the way back to the camp.

Viloa frowned at her orders, she was to once again hunt for the pack. When she went to protest though Troy growled at her and said it was her place to just hunt. That she would never have to lift a paw in battle, that's what males are for. According to him anyways. The fae had gone off again, grumbling to herself and muttering curses towards Troy and Butch because no one stood up to him. After a while though she shook her head and focused on hunting, it was hard being the only fae with a group full of brutes and only Markus didn't give her hard time, he hardly talks.

Just as she was thinking about the Shaman she saw him, he was digging at something near the base of a tree. Sure she was curious but she didn't want to talk to anyone anyways and turned to head the opposite direction.

Pebble looked at Bramble, who was talking with the new shaman, Rowdy, about herbs and such. Rowdy had been in the territory when he and Bramble had returned from the last hunt, something that Pebble had decided not to worry himself over.

Bramble broke off her conversation and trotted over to Pebble. Once again, Pebble found himself stunned by the lithe smooth-fix terrier, but he finally found his words.

"Bramble, will you come walking in the woods with me?" He asked. "I have something I'd like to ask you."

Bramble nodded, and the two set off down a small game trail.

Raleigh caught Rowdy watching the pair of ironteeth walk away. "He finally asked her," she muttered.

"Eh?" Rowdy asked, turning round.

Raleigh shook her head. "Nothing. I'm going hunting," she lied. She set off before Rowdy could question her.

Niko brought back the dog.Fiona asked her, what's her name. She said her name was Lily. Fiona asked: "Lily, could you go and catch some prey for us?" Lily said yes. But Fiona said that they had to eat first. So they ate a rabbit. Lily goed to catch some prey. Fiona thought it was time to get a shaman or a irontooth. So she left Niko in charge and went to speak with the ancestors.
Fiona said: "Oh my ancestors, i wish for a new addition to my kennel. If you can, of course"

The Misfit Growlers

Logan retrieved the 2 squirrels back to camp, dropping both of them onto one of the many picnic tables, "Wonderful, thank you Logan!" grinned Belle, she picked out a squirrel from the picnic table and sat in the red tent eating up her meal, Logan dipped his head to Belle, "Your welcome" he barked, Logan feasted on the other squirrel, savoring it's taste.

One moon later..

That morning Logan and Belle both set out to go on a border patrol, the 2's fur bristling next to each other' still they decided to split up "I will check near the stream, you go over to the Warm Rocks" she barked, the 2 split up in opposite directions, Belle heading towards the stream that lead to campgrounds, and Logan headed towards Warm Rocks, Though it took a long walk, Logan finally found the Warm Rocks after shoving his body through a bush.

2 servings have been eaten
Logan and Belle are patrolling 2 areas (Warm Rocks, and the stream)
