Peter's head snapped over to Thomas. "What's going on?"

Penelope slid in front of Thomas slightly. "Nothing."

"I beg to differ." Sam said. "Kinda hard to believe Thomas just got out of the shower if he doesn't smell like soap." she said, eyeing Thomas suspiciously, "I know what you did."

Thomas felt the color drain from his face when Sam said she knew. He swallowed hard, "I don't know what your talking about, Sam." he said convincingly.

Penelope looked over at her, her eyes hard. She was as scary as Peter almost. "He was in the bathroom. Not in the shower."

Peter took a step forward. "What happened here?"

Sam nodded, stepping back, a little scared of Penelope.

All color drained from Thomas's face, "Nothing..." he said, a little bit less convincing.

Sam was now quiet, but she stood on her tip-toes to whisper in Peter's ear. She told him what they had done before they had gotten home.

Peter's face turned white. His eyes hardened and he glared at Thomas with murder in his eyes.

Penelope kept staring at Sam, her face enraged.

Sam whimpered, backing up. She glanced from the floor to Penelope occasionally, but eventually got too frightened and just stood there staring at the floor.

Thomas backed up a step, Oh good lord.. he thought, his emerald eyes wide.

Peter went to take a swing at Thomas.

Penelope caught his fist and shoved him back against the wall. "Touch him and I'll make your little girlfriend miserable." She said through her teeth.

Sam's eyes widened, though she didn't move from her place, nor did she look up. She was too frightened to do either.

Thomas stood there, glaring at Sam like there was no tomorrow.

Penelope released him and took a step back. "I'm leaving." She turned and left. She wasn't coming back to the apartment. She'd find somewhere else to stay. Away from Sam. Away from Peter.

Peter stared after her. He wrapped an arm around Sam and glared at Thomas. "I should murder you."

Sam hid her face in Peter's shirt, silent tears rolling down her pale cheeks.

Thomas's eyes widened, and he slowly made his way toward the door. Then darted out, after Penelope.
