Broken laughed for a moment. "Yeah, but you'd have to learn how to swim to get all of the best ones. You'll probably learn when you're older, no worries!" she purred reassuringly to Cloudkit.

Tideclaw nodded in agreement. When he saw Marbledream flinch his eyes flashed with concern. "Are you alright?" he asked, watching her for a moment.

Stoneheart saw Blizzardbreeze following, and he smiled faintly, trying to make sure she didn't freeze from fear. He kept an eye on the warrior, knowing that she wasn't much older than an apprentice.

Rosepaw stayed quiet at Shadefern's side, simply following him where he wanted to go. She was glad that she could help her clanmate, even though she was just an apprentice.

Swiftshadow was just outside the camp entrance when the the typhoon came. The black tom never once showed fear until now. He stood there frozen for a moment before quickly heading to the nearest tree. High ground would help. If the tree was up rooted he would at least have something to hold onto instead of being dragged under the water.

The light colored she-cat was out of camp when the typhoon hit, but still got hit with it. She slipped under the water a few times before finally catching herself on a log. There she clung on for dear life, waiting the typhoon out.

Firepaw and Icepaw

Icepaw pulled the small kit to him, hoping to keep Fernkit warm. Firepaw pressed herself closer to Icepaw and Fernkit, hoping their shared body heat would help warm up the kit. "We'll look after you..." Icepaw told Fernkit. It was rare for the tom to talk, but in this time he figured it would help Fernkit calm down a bit.

Once an top of the hill, Fadedshadow collapsed to the ground. She looked out across the raging water, seeing others going under and not resurface. So many where lost and now she was all alone. Sparrowflight was gone and now Fadedshadow was alone. Her parents passed away moons ago and now Sparrowflight.

She glanced at her twisted paw, guessing it was broken or something. "U-Uhm.... Y-Yes...." She lied, slowly and painfully laying down with her injured foot stretched out to the side. She sighed. "Are we safe here?.... What if more rocks and mud slide down the hill?.." She asked mostly to herself. Cloudkit just frowned. "I have to swim?... Don't cats die swimming?... Like my mum almost did?..." The she-kit asked worriedly, taking a glance at the tom and his mother, then back to the black she-cat.

Broken had to think for a minute before responding. "Well I guess that some cats are just better in the water than others. And to be fair, cats die on land too. But don't worry about that. I'm sure that you have plenty of cats to keep you from doing that. Like these two. Are they your parents?" Her eyes flashed briefly to the two warriors sitting with the kit.

Rosepaw glanced around. "I believe so... I haven't seen her though," she answered. Her tail flicked back and forth slowly as she scanned the group of cats. She could see cats starting to huddle together, but she wasn't sure who was who with the mud covered cats.

Once they were high enough up Gingerleaf stopped with the others, her mouth open to suck in much-needed air while she glances around the gathered cats. She can see now that a good number are missing and she can only hope that it's because they found high ground somewhere else.

Even when they made it to a safe height Silverclaw was a bit wary about leaving Fadedshadow to herself, while he knew she might want to grieve alone and might snap at him now or later he decided to take the chance. He didn't say anything to her as they stopped, simply sat down close enough to where she knew he was there if needed. Honestly, he was too tired to do much else, fighting the water had taken a lot out of most everyone.
