Beepaw
Female | Apprentice | Interested in Falcon | With Nessa
Beepaw's eyes followed her paw as it moved down along her face. Nessa was barely touching her so it caused her fur to tingle a little bit, and her tail tip twitched, less in agitation and more in excitement. "Will they be back soon? I'd love to meet them." Beepaw spoke up vibrantly, then retreated inwardly. "Unless they don't take too kindly to strangers, I just want to help. Especially Falcon, he deserves it." Beepaw mewed, looking out of the den she could not see Falcon but his burnt scent still lingered a little bit and it was comforting in this unfamiliar place, as strange as it seemed.

Beepaw felt a dampness wash over her, discomfort stretching into every limb of her body and she felt her body shiver, panic overtaking her. "Nessa, something isn't right" Beepaw mewed softly. The two cats were already on high ground, as well as Falcon, she assumed they would be safe but it didn't stop the feeling of dread.
Weaselfang
Male | Deputy | Crushing on Mintstar | With Marbledream, Cloudkit
The tom watched as Yarrowkit was placed next to him, then he watched as Marbledream began to slide down the hill,
closer to the water, his fur stood on edge but he couldn't abandon Cloudkit. Marbledream seemed to understood and nodded at him to keep the kitten safe. Another cat came though, swooping in, saving the day, rescuing Marbledream from a disgusting death that would leave her bloated and wet. Weaselfang looked over at Bearface, she was staring distantly at a tree falling, a queen falling from the tree, being flung into the water, he didn't see the kit and instead looked away, down to Cloudkit. He pushed the she-cat closer to him, holding her tightly to his body. "You'll be okay, you still got a long time to grow up." Weaselfang mewed to the kit.
Bearface
Female | Warrior | Interested in N/A | With Everyone
The she-cat had set the mud-pelted Yarrowkit down at the top of the hill, setting him close to Weaselfang as she knew she could trust her father to watch over him. He was already watching over Cloudkit now. Bearface now turned her head. At the worst time possible too.
Her eyes landed on the two queens who were carrying Poppykit and Treekit, it seemed much like a horror movie, the cats moved in slow motion. Their tortioseshell pelts blending into the destroyed landscape. Their paws slipping on mud and claws outstretched to grasp what they could. The first queen who held Treekit attempted to jump through the mud, though a hidden branch underneath the mud caused her to slip, the kitten dropping out of her jaw and Bearface's eyes grew wide as she began to rush down but stopped as the water rose to the queen's hindlegs. It appeared desperate that she scrambled to her own paws and grasp at the mewling, shaking, terrified Treekit once more, whose pelt clung so tightly to him she would've thought he was half-starved. Once more, it began slow. A branch, a failed pawstep, the queen couldn't get up any further, and instead fell back down into the water, grasping Treekit in her jaws. Releasing him and watching as he struggled to swim and crying Bearface's name through a hoarse voice that made her ears go numb and her body tingle as Bearface could do nothing. Did the other queen have better luck?
Bearface tore her eyes away from the tip of her kittens ear disappearing underneath the surging water.
Blue eyes now rested on Poppykit and the queen, much higher now, but it appeared they would not make it to the hill. Instead she watched the queen clamber up a tree, resting high in it against the middle so that she would be safer. Bearface saw this in slow motion too. The branches shook, the roots twisted, there was a vibration coming from the tree and the queen's eyes were as wide as her father's. Bearface saw Poppykit fall to the ground and an intense wave of anger and fear washed over her while she observed this, Poppykit got to her paws the best she could but the mud mostly kept her down. Then the tree began to slide, it pushed into Poppykit, knocking her over, the tree collapsed on its side, flinging the queen and crushing her kit. Bearface wasn't sure she wished to see her old mate at this point, her eyes instead traveling to Yarrowkit and rushing over to him instead, wrapping her whole body around him protectively and remaining silent from her own witnessed horrors. Had the others witnessed it as much as she had.
Why had it all happened so slowly?
