Hello and welcome to the 'is my trade fair?' Topic, where users help other users determine fairness in trades!

You've come to this thread because you need help figuring out if a trade is fair!

If you don't know, please don't try to help because your advice can make or break a trade.

Always get more then one answer!
Ask different times of the day to get the most varied responses - if your trade partner isn't patient enough to wait, then don't bother trading with them!
Research your pets before you trade!

Opinions!
Any advice posted on this thread is the opinion of the member, whether they be a member, staff, general helper, etc. Their position should not be taken into consideration when looking at their advice. Staff only post their opinions, not site facts.

Rules for posting:
- No double posting on the same page, You may 'bump' your trade to the next page.
- Please use pictures or the [share trade] option so people can see what pets youre talking about!
- Don't offer gifts for answers! This will probably encourage false advice from users who just want free pets
- Do not take all answers to be fact, ask for more the one answer!
- Be polite! (Don't demand help, don't use tiny or huge letter sizes or colored ones, just plain old polite text will get you the fastest help!)
- After receiving help, please thank the person who helped you!

Rules for helping out:
- Give educated advice (dont know = don't reply)
- Explain your advice (add 'why' you think something, not just unfair/fair. Add all info you have! explain!)
- Do not answer your own trades (that kind of defeats the purpose =P)
- Be Polite! (No 'you're too dumb to understand trading' types of attitude, help because you like to help, not because you want to be popular!)
- Rules will be monitored by staff.

If someone is spamming the thread, please do not hesitate to click the report button. We want to keep this thread as spam-free as possible.

Here’s how you get it:

1) Go to the trade you wish to post, and view it.
2) Look for where it says Viewing a trade offer which you received/sent and find the words that look like this: [share trade]. Click on that.
3) A page with a short paragraph and white box with a URL should show up.
4) Copy the URL from the white box and paste it into your post.
5) Highlight the URL and click the underlined URL button on the dock above your writing space

I was originally doing a gift war, and I just wanted to know if we were being unfair at all.
Did add a red pen pen, but I removed what they offered since i could've gotten it for an uncommon. x3

2008 very rare=2009 very rare+2010 rare
2012 store pet=early 2009 rare, so they need to add a 2010 rare for this to be fair value wise

I would say unfair to you by a 2010 rare. From what I have been told 08s are valued a little different than other years. A VR 08 would be equal to 2 09 rares and a 2010 rare. A 2012 store pet is worth an early 09 rare. So their side is equal to 2 early 09 rares.
