The tall quiet black tom slipped outside the warrior's den and padded towards the camp entrance. He often went out and hunted by himself instead of in patrols. Although he was in the clan now, Swiftshadow was still adjusting to the clan life. He sighed a bit, a bit lost in his own thoughts as he padded out of camp.

The pretty tan she-cat returned from her early morning walk, her head clear from fogginess from waking up. She looked around camp, surprised to see so many cats already up and about. She was ready to get today started with a patrol or something. If she wasn't put on a patrol she would go out hunting by herself. It's how Lightstep always started her mornings off.

The beautiful calico she-cat stretched in her nest before looking over at her sleeping brother. Icepaw was asleep peacefully and normally Firepaw would let him sleep. However upon hearing cats outside the calico she-cat padded quietly over to her brother. She poked him gently, whispering quietly. "Time to get up." she meowed.

The light colored tom twitched a bit upon feeling a slight poke. He then heard the soft meow of his sister. Icepaw rose his head up, looking at his sister and giving the calico she-cat a small smile. "Morning Firepaw." he purred quietly. After letting his eyes adjust to the light he stood and stretched.

"aw cmon!" he purred, his orange ears flickering as they exited camp, "how about something small? you can't hurt yourself catching fish.". as they exited the camp, he redirectioned himself towards the forest, his nose in the air trying to pick out the scent of a watervole.briarpaw | 10 moons old | apprentice |mood; joyful | mentor; weaselfang | tags; bramblepaw
briarpaw took off sprinting, just a tail-length behind bramblepaw. his paws dodged dips and rocks as he ran, though he stumbled on a few twigs at one point. once they reached the beach, briarpaw ended up tripping and tumbling in the sand like his usual clumsy self. "agh! that wasn't fair, you started early!", he whined, whiskers twitching in amusement. "okay, first one who can catch a fish wins." briarpaw said, crouching low. he batted at the other apprentice, a grin on his face.silverkit | 4 moons old | kit |mood; joyful | location; kit den | tags; fernkit, jaypaw
silverkit murmured an 'okay' and began to guide him to the medicine den. "so, fernkit, wanna go into the warriors den afterwards? maybe we can convince someone to take us out of camp!", the she-cat said, wars flickering. she lifted her tail off of the kit once they reached the medicine den and poked her head inside, "jaypaw?" , she asked, her tail resting yet again on fernkit.

The toms one ear perked, and mewed," It's fine, I wasn't paying attention when I ran into a fox. I wouldn't be here if my father and elder sister hadn't found me in time." He paused, then realized he didn't know the felines name and mewed," Oh, I'm Amunet, who are you?" We should get the prey first, then get Nessa and the herbs.

She chuckled as her siblings left, then got back into a sitting position before curling her tail around her paws. Her mind wandered, From what Falcons said, these clan cats protect females that are excepting and nursing queens. The thought of mother-hood made her smile, Nessa had a fondness for kits. The silver tabby yearned for a family, a mate and some kits of her own. She shook her head and thought, We are so lucky that mom, taught me a bit about healing before she died.
