Why?: Hence to her love to meet new waters, the song references to her love overseas. In one of her travels she met a prince who made her heart sing. But the problem is that he was not a Merlion, he was actually a lion. They met on a port in Africa, he was in a cage and she helped him out. He was thankful and as they talked, the pair fell in love but they had a problem. She could not survive in land and he could not breather under water. They were heartbroken, yet promised to one day meet each other again overseas and be together once more.
