Val bit her lip and took a step toward Morta. She was afraid of what Morta wanted from her.

Adrian blankly watched the Fate. Other than the raised hair on his arms, he felt completely at ease. The Fate didn't scare him because death didn't scare him. That's all this Fate could do was kill.


Seth felt Val's grip tighten when the Fate pointed her finger at her. Don't worry, I'm here. I will protect you. He tried to tell Val as he tightened his grip as well. It was like he was afraid she'd slip away and disappear. His tattoo felt like it was on fire, Seth even glanced back at his back to be sure. Nope, just burning. He wouldn't admit it be even he felt a bit afraid of what this Fate had to say.

Val looked at Seth and let go of his hand. She went over to Morta and bowed. The Fate turned into her Roman form as Val kneeled. "I know what you seek, Roman Demi-god" Morta's voice was gravely in everyone's mind. Val winced. She clutched her chest and realized what the Curse of Aeolus was. Her. Val bit her lip. "I know my fate Lady Morta." She looked up at the Fate with defiance in her eyes. "As will your friends if you fail." Val grounded her teeth. Why was everyone telling her she was going to fail? Because you are a Roman. Conquest is in your blood. And that's how Rome fell. She gritted her teeth.

((Nice Anime. >.< It's funny when you hear fears and go, "I have that." 0_o))

(Dude I know I go to phobialist.com and freak out when I see something I have. I'll be all, "Holy crap! I didn't even now that was a thing!" Or I'll laugh and say "Haha loser!" |D)


Seth gritted his teeth and stepped towards the Fate. "No, she won't! Valeriana will not fail! I believe in her!" He growled to the Fate before he grinned his crooked smile down at Val. And it was true he did believe in her, he believed that Val would beat the odds and help with the prophecy.

[Anomaly]

((Wow. And I thought I was mean. Or my grandmother. :3 "I'm not short, I'm funsized." Me: "You are not fun-sized. You're mean-sized."))

Morta smiled wickedly at Seth. "Your lifelines have already been intertwined by my sister. I can easily end it." Her eyes flared black, filled with Death.

Val stood up and came between them. "No." She put her arms up protectively before Seth. She didn't know what she was doing. But she had to protect him. Maybe a bit more in her mind than the others. She had protected Adrian from being turned into an ice statue.

Morta furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. "So you want them to die?" She pointed to Adrian and Aria, then at Ian and Erin.

Val grounded her teeth. "No. Just tell us what we should know."

Adrian raised and eyebrow and shook his head at Valeriana and Seth. 'Idiots. . .' He thought to himself. The hairs on the back of his neck bristled. 'It's going to be soon...' He thought to himself.


Seth gritted his teeth at the Fate. He clenched his fists and an electric hum seemed to radiate from him. His raging blue eyes blazed with an angered intensity, but maybe it was just because his tattoo felt like it was about to burn straight through to his muscles. Either way he was on edge enough to want to slap the Fate himself, though that probably wouldn't be the wisest thing to do. . .

[Anomaly]

Val kept her arms up. She wasn't going to let this Fate try anything. These were her friends. She stared at the Fate.

The Fate sneered evilly. "One of you will fall into the river Lethe, one will die, and one will lose all they hold dear." She looked at three specific people. (Not telling who. You'll have to guess. xD Cause I'm Evil like that. Muhahahahahah *coughs* Ha...hahahaha. *Coughes*)

Val's eyes widened. She bit her lip. Thinking she was one. She shook her head. "Is that all?"

"Three will fall for the Empousa's glare. And one will face her Father in jail." Her evil grin grew as she spoke. She finally vanished.

Seth felt his tattoo burn so intensely that he thought he might cry out but it then fizzled to nothing. He glared at the Fate until she disappeared. He knew he saw the Fate stare at him when she spoke at least one line. He ignored it and looked down at Val. "What a mean little Hobbit, I hope bunnies eat her." He growled, though he couldn't help but crack a slight smile.


Adrian listened to the Fate. He was intrigued. 'So at least everyone will face something once..?' He thought to himself. 'I wonder who's dumb enough to fall into the bloody river..?' He wondered.

(*grumble grumble* I have to go, be back in an hour. |P)

Val looked at Seth. And did something that was out of character for her. She hugged him. She felt something bad was going to happen. Someone would be pushed in Lethe. She knew that. No one would be stupid enough to fall in. Then again. She held onto Seth. "Everyone, stay away from the river."
