Short Description -- Small, long-limbed pale cream and white tabby she-cat with tufted ears, a fluffy tail and large, sky blue eyes. Primrose has a darker patch on her face and tail, with white paws and chest. Primrosepetal is a sweet little shecat who always tries her hardest, loving to make new friends whenever possible. She has a speech impediment, almost to the point where she is partially mute. She will manage to croak out a few words in hopes to get what she needs to say in as little words as possible, but her smile is generally all it takes to get a point across. Primrosepetal is soft, eager and loves to help out to the best of her ability, and is very affectionate to her clanmates. She can be considered slightly childish, gullible, or even a bit slow, but she is gentle and loving all the same.

It was almost nighttime. The skies had grown dark and the faint outline of the moon could be seen shining a light over the camp. Shortclaw was tired from spending the day organizing patrols and spending time with Sapkit. The brown-furred deputy stifled a yawn as he headed towards his den to get a good night's sleep.

It was then that he crashed into what appeared to be the shape of another cat. He tensed for a second before he blinked his tired eyes and relaxed as he looked at the clanmate he had bumped into.

"I'm sorry, I didn't see you there," he apologized quickly. The other cat didn't seem to mind. In fact, they almost seemed pleased.
"Oh, that's alright. I was out looking for you, anyways," the soon-to-be murderer replied.

Shortclaw frowned. That was certainly unusual. Especially this late at night. He flicked his tail nervously as he wondered if something was wrong.
"May I ask why?" he prompted.

"I found something that you should see," was his clanmate's quick response. The cat turned and began walking towards the camp exit. Shortclaw followed, both worried and curious, as they approached the forest. What could have happened that I needed to see? Why not go to Jaystar? His thoughts went unvoiced.

The cat had stopped near the edge of the forest. As his clanmate turned to face him, Shortclaw couldn't help but feel as if something had changed in the cat's demeanor. The cat was silent for a little while, and then they began to laugh.

"What is it?" Shortclaw asked. He tried to keep the worry out of his voice so he would not scare his companion.
"You were always so trusting," the cat replied. Shortclaw blinked in puzzled suprise. The other cat wasted no time before charging him at full speed, knocking Thunderclan's deputy flat on his back.

The assailant moved to slash Shortclaw's throat, but the deputy was faster. He rolled out of the way as the attack caught the side of his neck, leaving a small trail of blood dripping from the wound.

"What are you doing?" he asked as he stared his clanmate in the eye.
"Trying to kill you, obviously," the cat growled. "Now stay still so I can do so".

Shortclaw easily dodged another blow, and the one after that. The two continued the pattern for a while, one attacking and the other defending, and the pair were a considerable distance away from where they had started.

"You can't beat me in battle, and you know it. You're my clanmate, and I don't want to hurt you!" Shortclaw shouted as he avoided a blow aimed towards his stomach.
"Oh, I know you don't, and that gives me the advantage," his opponent replied. "You see, I don't have to defeat you in combat to win!"

The cat's attacks halted as they fixed their eyes on something behind Shortclaw. The deputy paused, clearly puzzled, and shot a quick glance behind him as well.

It was only a second, but that was all his clanmate needed. They sped towards their victim, knocking the both of them onto a Thunderpath. The traitor quickly rolled out of the way, leaving Shortclaw to be run over by a passing monster.

"And so it begins."

The killer headed back towards the camp in the dead of the night, satisfied with the knowledge that they alone were aware of the events that had occurred.

Watch out Thunderclan! A killer is among you.

Sapkit rolled out of the nursery. She was slightly peckish. She walked towards the prey pile. Where's daddy? He's usually up by now. she thought. She shrugged it off and grabbed a mouse. She nibbled it slowly, thinking about where her daddy could be.

Riverkit poked her head out of the nursery, her tiny nose wiggling as she scented the air. She perked up when she scented that Sapkit was in the clearing. The ginger and grey mottled she-kit padded over to her. "Hey, Sapkit." She mewed, her tail lashing back and forth.

"Hey Riverkit! Want some?" she asked the she-kit. She was already full, even after a few bites. Her mind drifted. Where's daddy? Something's gotta be wrong! she thought. She shook her head. I'm sure he's just sleeping still. she thought.
