Dean waved a hand in front of her face, but nothing seemed to catch her attention. "Aislin? Is this some sick attempt on trying to scare me, because it's working."

Aislin didn't reply at all. She slowly started to walk into the forest.

"Aislin," he hissed, following after her. "This isn't cool."

Aislin kept walking, turning her head as if listening for something.

Dean smacked her arm. "Dude," he said. "What are you doing?"

Aislin blinked a few times before shaking her head. "Huh?"

Dean made a face. "If you were trying to prove a point, then you did a good job of scaring me," he snapped. "What the hell was that?"

"What do you mean?" Aislin asked, generally confused. She wasn't faking it.

Dean raised a brow. "So, you literally didn't know what you were doing? You went all... zombie on me."
