it's been night for what feels like forever now. street lamps used to light these streets but have long since ru
n out of their fuel. temperatures are dropping. it was once summer a millennia ago. nobody remembers when
exactly, or how this all started. it was all uncalled for. when the sun blew out like a lightbuilb, every human s
eemed to disappear. nobody ventured out. nobody wanted to be caught dead in the ghostly streets and alley
ways. humanity, nearly as a whole kicked their furry friends out. whether that be cats, dogs;; even rodents g
ot the cold shoulder. humanity was in fear of losing themselves. people robbed grocery stores if panic set int
o them deep enough. but, otherwise, the roads were left bare, and pristine. instead, canines have become r
ulers. taking over the shopping malls since nobody was even there to close it one day, and everybody seemed
to flock into it. the felines took care of the food left unattended in the grocery stores. mice and hamsters, a
nd whatever kind of rodents and reptiles slither through the trash bins, desperate for something to trade. an
odd sort of harmony has been formed. and while the silence of the ever-lasting night seems to drive a few m
ad here or there, there's structure in the least. with the majority being oblivious of the over hanging problem.
where has all the humans gone? why haven't they come back? why has this night been so long? I guess, good luck.

1. no god-modding, blah, blah blah. i want this to be decently realistic. however, I honestly don't c
   are if your dog is wearing a shawl, or a back back, or whatever. just make sure the back pack is li
   ke a vest or "blanket". no rainbow eyes or unicorn horns, ya' know?
2. pm me thoughts. if you think one thing would work better than something i already put down, i'
   m all for a re-check! just hit me up, please. :))
3. big and small dogs, felines, gerbils, etc;; lgbt+, those are all welcome. and while this will be relatively rel
   axed, i want at least four-to-five sentences per character. oh! and only three characters per person unless
   you ask and i say otherwise;; only one high-ish rank per person;; unless i say otherwise. the high-ish
   ranks available are leadership roles, second-in-command roles, "botanist" roles, and "collectors".
   however, young, scavengers, mothers, and whatever are for anybody. ;))
4. as per usual, all of tess' rules and what not apply.
5. pm me for reservation. reservations last for 24 hours, unless you tell me ahead of time you
   might need a little longer than that. :))
6. i have the right to accept and deny any bio that i see fit. however, i most likely won't deny
   many, if any. but, i'm just saying.. just encase.
7. more groups will probably pop up some time. whether they start out as rebels, or something
   else. pm me if you'd enjoy creating a group before the roleplay begins.
8. i will decide [with the help of ya' guys] if anything dramatic such as snowfall, blizzard,
   spontaneous fire, the zoo opening up, etc, etc, happens. feel free to spit me some suggestions.

• there is no further explanation for the night lasting this long. so far, it has
  been "night" for about three weeks, and a vague sort of system has been wor
  ked out so that nobody suddenly kills one another.
• there will be three or four "packs" sort of. each given their own sort of job
  in a way so that i guess they're all important.
• the scenery is primarily based in seattle, washington. however, the city
  isn't really all too crucial. just say we're in the middle of nowhere, but every
  where at the same time. somethin' like that. ;))
• pm me for more information on the ranks if you're curious about that kind
  of thing.
• i will occasionally announce a change in weather, a supposed outter confli
  ct, etc etc. feel free to shoot me suggestions. and yes, the temperature is d
