Dresyn listened. "I stay here when summer is over. I have no where else to go. So I stay." He finished and put the bat in a barrel of water. He could feel the steam on his face but he didn't mind. He finished and pulled the bat out, glowing with celestial bronze. "There."

"If I hadn't met Chloe, I'd stay here too," Azura said as she walked over to inspect the bat. "I don't get along with my father, he never really wanted me and could wait to get rid of me. That's really nice work, is it for the new girl?"

[Anomaly]

Dresyn nodded understandably. "Yeah. It's for the new girl." He slid his arm between her and the bat to make sure he had enough room. He swung it and nodded, grateful that his work was done well. He set it down. "Won't tarnish."

Jeremy looked at Sam from across the table trying to decide if she was just kidding or not "the gobblets fill on thier own, with what ever you want to drink. Non alcoholic of course though" he said.

Azura laughed, "Does celestial bronze ever tarnish? I didn't think it did."

"Some do." He set it by the door to take to Sam on his way out. "It just depends." He took out his daggers and sharpened them. He sat at the grinding stone and trailed his fingers on it. Then he started turning it, sharpening his blades. "And they also dull out."

Azura drew her dagger and ran her finger along its edge. It was still as sharp as the day her mother had given it to her, "I guess I never thought that because mine never seems to dull or tarnish. Maybe my mother enchanted it." She looked over at Dresyn, then quickly looked away blushing.
