Mickey
[Gender: Male] [Age: 3] [Tagged: Raven, Watsky, Avalon, Harley and Gaia] [Crush: No crushes, possibly starting to like Gaia]
----> It was a pretty regular morning for me, the sun shone between the silhouettes of leaves on the forest floor, and the chilly breeze rustled my fur, I had been awake before the sun even rose, like I usually was, and of course I was off again, trying to find something to do. I'd patrolled the territory twice already, and wasn't really up to a hunt for the moment, it seemed everyday was like a song, the same song, and it would just repeat over and over.
Wake Up,
Go to the Bathroom,
Eat,
Patrol the Territory,
Hunt,
Eat,
Sleep,
Repeat.
I was so bored, I sat there, in the forest, alone, and thought. I had never had any interest in a mate, and no female had ever had any interest in being my mate, I'd never brought back an overly impressive kill to the pack, and I've never done anything worth remembering. Was I even needed at all? The thoughts started to scare me, everyone saw me as happy, goofy Mickey, but lately, I just wasn't anymore. I felt like if I just left one day that not even Raven, my alpha, would notice. I felt like no one would care. Everyone sees me as happy goofy Mickey, and I want to fulfil their expectations, I really do, but lately, I've been so insignificant that I just can't. I looked around me to make sure nobody was approaching, from any side. Then lay down in the middle of the forest floor, contemplating if anything matters at all, just then, he smelt something, it was panic scent from dogs being carried on the wind. Instantly I rose to my feet, knowing the boat was to arrive soon, I rushed towards my Alpha, tail tucked between my legs and ears flattened in a show of submission.
"The boat is nearly here! Are you coming?" I called and I waited for her response nervously, my paws shuffling with excitement, I could hardly wait for them...
As we arrived, I noticed that I could smell the dog's scents strongly now (though it was hard to tell from exactly where due to the fish smell), but could not see them...
Looking onto the boat, I noticed the open hatch leading down to a lower level inside the boat, and putting all my fears behind me, went down inside.
"Hello? Is everyone okay in here?" I called then saw them, there was a skinny fawn dog, with brown eyes, he seemed nice enough, but he wasn't the one who caught my eye. The girl reminded of a starless night sky, so vast, unending and mysterious, yet somehow comforting. Her head was low and in a submissive position, and it struck me as cute the way she was nervously awkward. "Who..." was all I could say, I was trying to ask who she was, but my words trailed off as I almost rudely ignored the other dog. It took me almost a full two minutes before I snapped back into reality, acknowledging the other dog's presence once again,
"New arrivals, eh?" I said, trying to be charismatic "you're not hurt are you? What's your names?" before they could even answer I was telling them more things, and asking more questions "You'll need to meet Alpha, she demands to meet all newcomers, okay? Do either of you know how to hunt? How'd you end up here?" I was much too enthusiastic, the she-dog had made me so nervous I didn't even notice the verbal vomit I was throwing all over them, I was asking so many questions that they probably forgot their answers! I shook my head at my own stupidity "Was that too many questions?" I asked
