Ian felt Erin pull away but he didn't know what to say. He just stood there staring at her with a huge smile on his face. He finally regained some composer and blushed furiously and looked to the ground. He debated saying something but in the end just gave her a hug and keeping one of her hands in his continued walking behind the others.

Dresyn went over to the anvil, putting his gloves on. "There's more to it than that. I can hear it in your voice." He grabbed a mold, trailing his nimble fingers over them, making the shape of a bat and set it down on the edge of the anvil. He grabbed a porer and felt where the mold was. He furrowed his eyebrows as he dumped the molten celestial bronze into the mold.

Seth looked down at Val. "Don't worry, everything will be fine." He said gently.


Sam walked into the dining pavilion with the others and was immediately engulfed in the wonderful smell of barbecue. Her mouth started and watering she quickly grabbed a plate. She did what she was told and gave a big fat juicy piece of brisket to the gods. "Please let me know who my dad is." She whispered before she sat down at the Hermes table. She the quickly started digging in.

Val looked up at Seth gratefully. You will fail... she shook her head. She changed dramatically since she went to camp half-blood. Something will go wrong.

Azura blushed, "Well, I want to get to know you better." She hoped she didn't sound like an idiot because she certainly felt like one.

Chloe got her food and dropped the best parts into the fire, "Ares." Then she went and sat down at her table and began to shovel food into her mouth. She liked food and she enjoyed eating, though you'd never know it by looking at her.

Dresyn listened and sighed softly. "What do you want to know?" He continued to craft Sam's bat. He mad another mold and put some celestial bronze on it. He put them both together. He listened intently to her words.

"hungry are you?" Jeremy remarked from the other side of the Hermes table, who in size was matched only by the Apollo cabin during the summer.

Erin walked in silence next to Ian, her lips still tingled with static and she wondered if that happened everytime he touched someone. she intertwined her fingers with his, the ball of light that followed above thier little group seemed to glow even brighter.

Azura was blushing furiously now, "Well, um, what's your family like?" She just said the first thing that came to mind, she hadn't actually expected him to want to talk and now she was having remember anything. She was so glad he was blind or she'd probably run screaming from the forges about now.

Dresyn froze. He hadn't thought of his family. "They're dead." He furrowed his eyebrows, remembering. "Died a long time ago." He continued to use the bellows to cool off the bat. He knew she had tensed, not expecting an answer like that. "It's ok Azura."

Sam looked up and nodded her head. "Very. I haven"t had real food in I don't know how long." She said after she took another bite of mouth watering brisket. She grabbed her goblet and looked around. "Hey where do you guys keep your drinks?" She asked with confusion because she saw everyone sipping on soda or something.
