Alex chuckled a bit from where he sat on the ground with the two terriers,"They were just fine." He said.
Rosa continued to pet Sunset's hind legs as she got the thermometer ready. Once it was, she gently lifted the base of Sunset's tail and gently puch the thermometer into place before she held it there.
Sunset whined softly, a little confused of what was happening. She suddenly yelped a bit as the thermometer was inserted and held there before she struggled a little.
Rosa continued to pet Sunset's hind legs as she got the thermometer ready. Once it was, she gently lifted the base of Sunset's tail and gently puch the thermometer into place before she held it there.

Rosa held the thermometer in place before she heard it beep, in which she pulled it out and looked at it,"Her temperature has gone down, so that's good, but she still has a bit of a fever." She said.
Sunset continued to struggle a bit before managing to get her head slightly over Asher's arm.

Alex started up the car and began driving towards the shelter.
