They were -paws at the time of their release on CS, so it would be incorrect to call them by their full Warrior names. Fireheart was also only a warrior when he was released.

Not everyone has read the series yet so calling some of the cats the names that you feel more comfortable with may spoil things. Things that it can and will spoil is how far Rusty goes in the series and if Hollypaw, Jaypaw, and Lionpaw become warriors or not. It's better for us hard core fans to not spoil the series for new members in the fandom. :3

The Warrior cats were released starting in 2008 while a good portion of the Warriors series was still being written. As such, the names given to them in the guide are the names that the cats had at the time of their release, and it would be incorrect to change them to their "updated" names.
