Peridot glanced up and noticed the other gems making their way out of the base. She ran over, wondering what they were doing. "Hey guys! What'cha doin'?" Just then, she noticed three gems outside. She hesitated for a second, then quickly summoned her weapon. Who are these gems?

As the three of them had not been stopped yet, the small party continued to creep up the pathway. Blue is low to the ground, or as low as a seven foot giant of a Gem could get. They have also summoned their shield, keeping it in front of them to block any incoming traffic or attack. They're holding their spear behind them. Behind Blue a foot or two, Ande and Lexi try to keep as quiet as possible.

Near the top, Blue stops, shield out in defense as the Gems in the base come out. They glance to the Gems behind them.

"Get ready to run if you have to." Blue says to them quietly before looking back towards the top.

A few moments later, they spring up to the landing with a mighty war cry, barreling through anyone who may be at the top of the stairway with their shield, rolling to their feet in front of the other Gems and assuming a crouched position, the bottom of the shield resting on the ground directly in front of them and their spear pointed towards the new Gems, fearing they were Homeworld.

"Who are you, and what are you doing here?" Blue hisses at them.

"Hey Peridot." Lari said as her gem glowed and she reached back to summon her water blade, just in case. She flew up to the unknown gems and hovered a couple feet above the ground. *Is this seriously happening? We could fight them though, if anything goes wrong.* "We are the Crystal Gems of Star City and we protect the Earth from Homeworld. Now, please, put your weapons down and tell us who you are." The blue gem answered in a rather calm tone, trying to show that they mean no harm. She put her sword away too but was ready to summon it if the unknown gems were to attack.

Angel Aura

Angel was sitting in the control room with Jasper, getting ready to land on Earth. While sitting, she spoke to Jasper, "Jay, would you want to check on the corrupted gems and tell them that we will be landing soon?" The taller gem responded with a nod and went to another room. Angel started to land the ship on a beach. *You Crystal Gems will be demolished.*

Jasper went inside the room where the corrupted gems were kept. The three corrupted gems were her friends from the past that became corrupted somehow. They were lying on the floor. The orange gem picked up their heads and waited for one of them to "say" something. Then Jasper said in a hushed tone, "We will be landing soon, get ready for anything." The Gems nodded. A corrupted onyx said , "You guys need help?", and Jasper replied, "No, stay here and gather strength." Jasper petted the gems and went back to the control room.

Blue Goldstone hesitates, but slowly they stand up to their full, rather intimidating height, lowering their spear but leaving their shield in front of them. "Crystal Gems? You're affiliated with the rebels from Homeworld?"

Andesite carefully creeps up the stairs to see what's going on. Blue, upon seeing her small head peek up onto the landing, relaxes, walking towards the stairs and motioning for Ande and Ulexite to come up. They continue to speak as they move. "Simply put, we are runaways. We escaped from Homeworld not long ago, looking for safety. I apologize for being hostile towards you."

Andesite looks around at the strange Gems, then smiles. "Don't mind Blue! They're a little scary sometimes... We really don't mean you any harm!"

Larimar sighed in relief. They weren't on Homeworld's side, which was good. "It's all okay. Nobody died so it's all good." She said as she glanced at all of the gems gathered. The blue gem smiled and lowered herself a few inches. Lari then proceeded to answer Blue Goldstone's question. "We did fight on the Crystal Gems' side in the war so yeah, we are rebels." She shrugged and added. "Though, I don't think we are entirely like the original Crystal Gems. We only fought in the second war, even me, being 6,750 years old."

The blue gem's hair slightly waved in the breeze. She decided it was okay to introduce themselves. "So, let's start over. I am Blue Larimar but, I prefer to use a shorter version such as Lari or just Larimar. That is Cat's Eye, Emerald, and Peridot. There is also Moonstone but I don't know where she is. Well then, who are you guys?" Lari looked at the three new gems with curiosity.

Andesite's smile turns into a huge grin as she decides to introduce their small squad. "I'm Andesite! This is Blue Goldstone and..." Ulexite comes up behind her, "This is Ulexite!"

Lexi waves at the Crystal Gems with a small "Hey!" Blue merely nods a greeting.

"It's nice to meet you!" The small pink Gem says.

The blue gem's smile grew bigger and she gave a small chuckle. "It's nice to meet you too! Welcome to Earth." She turned to the other crystal gems and said, "So, now that this is all cleared up, what should we do? We can't just leave them here since they are new to to this planet and it's resources." Larimar glanced around for a moment, thinking. Her eyes looked from the new gems to her teammates and then to the peaceful scenery. "Maybe they can join us? We could explain everything we know about the Earth and it's beings. If it is okay with all of you." A nervous expression appeared on Lari's face and her wings came a little closer to the gem's body. She just wasn't really used to giving suggestions to other gems, being under Blue Diamond's command for a long time.

Even after introductions, Cat's Eye was reluctant around the gems. They could be putting a whole facade up. I mean, how else would they know where their base was? But she also felt that they wouldn't do that. They seemed nice and innocent enough. She looked to Blue Larimar, her crystal blue eye blinking in though. "Yes, perhaps it would be best if we escorted you around the town. You'll have a better understanding of earth." She gave a grin. "Chrysoberyl Facet-3T5J Cut-7XG. Commonly known as Cat's Eye. You can call me Cat or Kitty." She gave a mock curtsy, her bells jingling as she dipped down and un-summoned her weapon.
