We had such a fun day today at the summer show. The dog show was the best part, obviously haha. We didn't win any, but we still got three lovely rosettes!

Sadly, Zara is now taken by a rescue, but I'm happy for her!! The rescue is awesome, lots of their dogs get adopted, and she'll be able to go to a dog only home, which is best for her c: I'm gonna miss her though haha

We're gonna do tests with Vashti and Spade in a few weeks, we can't now because Vashti in heat so she's a little grumpy butt right now lol and ofc Spade's allergy problems. We'll see in a few weeks if Evie or Layla is coming home with me<33

it's my girl's ninth birthday on tuesday. it's the worst thing when they get old! she's got problems with her legs and i had to carry her for a bit when i took her out, but even as i did that i could see her wee tail wagging. she's the happiest dog i've ever met, i hope she still has a long life ahead of her ;w;

she's beautiful, and her smile is so sweet!
i have a soft spot for border collies, and i can relate so much;
my collie is 11/12 and has arthritis in her hips.

Right before I left the shelter today, Charlie attacked the Staffperson assigned to work with him. Luckily, she was wearing protective clothes. The police came over and he's heavily sedated now. After they left, it took three more of the Staff to get a quarantine cage ready for him.

I got Jasper a vest to wear for when we're out training! He already likes wearing it, at first I started off giving him lunch meat while I put the vest over him and on the third time he willingly put his head through. Now when he sees me holding it he comes over exited to put it on. I think he thinks of it the same as the harness that he's used to having on all the time so he doesn't mind it. With all the training we've been doing the last few months he even gets excited when he sees me grab his muzzle, he walks over and puts his head in. A couple days ago he even got to meet one of the neighbors who wanted to meet him. He did growl for a second but he didn't react otherwise and he loved the attention. Though I believe it was my fault he growled because I told him to sit when he was leaning up on the guy (another thing I have to work on with him because he wants to always jump up on everybody) and the guy didn't mind so I think Jasper was confused. That or because I walked over closer to the guy and Jasper gets very protective of me when people get close to me (another problem on the list of things to work through with him, he used to snap at my brother and his friends just with them being in the same room as me). He's been making plenty of progress though c:

I've been training Justin to do some simple commands. Sit, give paw, heel, down and my favorite - dance. He looks like a wiggly fish when I get him to dance. My new profile pic is some art of Justin by Kasezki.
