charlotte is a strong-willed plumerian. she doesn't take no for an answer, and will gladly stand up for herself or others. seemingly fearless, she has an insecure side; where she feels she hasn't been as good of a wife and mother as she would love to be. char is always there for everyone, and is just that shoulder to cry on when you need a friend. she'll help you out in the tough times and be there to enjoy the good ones the whole time. never abandoning you, charlotte will stand by your side and protect you. some may say she's overly protective, but it's just part of her nature.

charlotte tries her best not to be the helicopter parent, but she does keep a watchful eye on her children at all times. she's brought up her kids in a way where they know that the bond between siblings is unbreakable, and no matter what your brothers and sisters will always be there for you. she hopes that she's taught her children well, but each of them is their own persona and are free to be whoever and whatever they want. staying upbeat is char's way of not focusing too hard on the things going downhill in life.

charlotte's style is bad mid-90's mixed with a little bit of mom style. though, she does keep her bad mid-90's style a bit more conservative since she feels she is the prime example for her kids.

Relationships;;

leonie- daughter

charlotte and leonie have a very close mother-daughter bond. they do almost everything together, whether it's just going out for lunch or seeing the new disney movie that just hit the theaters. now that le's older and has moved out, they don't see each other as often; but they still talk a lot and occasionally go shopping together.

the two have a lot in common, and it's fun for them to talk and do fun activities together. charlotte's biggest nightmare is to lose connection with her children, and end up not being the best friend she hopes she can be for them. so, she tries to stay in-touch with le as much as she can, but it's hard now with leonie working and moving to conneticut. but, leonie comes back every winter to stay at the family cabin for christmas.

belier- husband

one of char and bee's favorite activities to do together is to go for walks to the park, and read. then they will discuss what they read and talk about it. it's really fun, though it may sound egg-head-ish. charlotte loves her husband very much, and she feels as if he was always the one for her. the love of her life. in her eyes, there is no better plumerian than belier.

charlotte first met bee when they were 16 years old. they were in art class, and they were told to partner up so that they could draw sketches of one another, and that was the assignment. you see, char was very shy as a teenager, and though she has since grown out of this she still has small "shy-bursts" as she calls them.

everyone had figured out their partner right away. but, the last two people without partners were charlotte and belier. being the last two plumerians, the pair was partnered up and they had a really fun time. it's hard to keep a straight face when you're drawing and watching someone else draw and watch you. it's surprisingly funny, and they would have random bursts of laughter. this disturbed the whole class, and they erupted in a loud shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. this made charlotte DIE of laughter, and they ended up getting detention. well, at least they were together. from then on, they became best friends. they did everything together, and eventually they developed feelings for each other.

it wasn't long before they were dating and then, well, the rest is history.

noah- friend

noah and charlotte have an interesting story.

it was raining, and charlotte was walking to the bus stop to go to work. at the stop, there was noah. soaked, miserable, and umbrella-less. he looked sad, and he was holding a big trunk with both of his hands. it looked awfully heavy. being the caring person she is, char helped young noah by standing near him with the umbrella. he looked up, surprised, and combed the hair out of his eyes. he looked at her and smiled. he had a lovely smile. charlotte returned the smile, but then looked at the trunk.

"hey," she asked. "if you don't mind me asking, what's in the box?" noah laughed slightly. "pardon?" he held his paw up to his ear. seeing he had a hearing aid in, she brought her mouth up to his left ear and said again, "if you don't mind me asking, what's in the box you're holding?" noah nodded. "it's just my telescope and camera. i was up on willow's cliff getting some really good shots, when it began to monsoon! can you believe this? in june?" noah didn't know why he was being so social. he guessed he just felt comfortable around charlotte, who at the time was 28. same age as him.

"wow, you're a photographer?" charlotte asked in wonder. she had always loved taking retro-looking pictures with her polaroid camera, but she had never thought of making it a full-time thing. "yeah," noah started. "actually, not exactly. it's just a hobby, i'm really focusing on school right now." charlotte was puzzled. "what grade are you in?" "I actually just started my second year of college." noah replied. "oh, i only took one. i guess that's why i was confused." they both laughed, and by that time the bus had arrived.

on the bus, they sat next to each other and discussed their occupations, charlotte specializing in sculpting and pottery, and noah in art. turns out they ahd a lot in common, and they became good friends. they met at the bus stop every morning from then on, and noah invited charlotte and belier over to his apartment for dinner. their families are good friends also, and they are invited to stay at the cabin during christmas as well.

author's note;; i had a ton of fun developing this character. i worked really super duper hard on the pixel art, since i'm not an artist at all but i would love to be one.
