carmen likes his parties like he likes everything else--alone. he isnt much of a party-goer, doesnt see the point, but can occasionally be bribed into small outings with his friends. most of the time though, carmen doesnt really do parties, both the hosting or the visiting part. he's not a fan of the noise (he has misophonia and easily gets anxious/angry) and more than once, when he was still in the "im not sure if i like them or not so im just here to hang out with my friends" phase, he frequently found them to more often than not crowded, cramped, and generally unpleasant. the smells are probably some of the worst things about parties though--carmen gets nauseous very easily, and the mixing of already unpleasant smells can make him throw up very quickly if he doesnt pace himself and watch out for any signs to tell him he needs to get out of there pronto.

however, he is more than open to small celebrations with his friends only, and there is no strange drinks or weird food involved. his ideal party meal would be pizza and his drink of choice is, unironically, any kind of juice he can get his hands on. if there's no juice, he usually goes for classic 7-up or sprite.

However, I wouldn't allow him to throw the party at my place, because LAST time he brought a rave to my house (Like 2 years ago), some of the glow sticks broke open, and he STILL hasn't repainted my walls, so they glow all the time and keep me awake at night. WHAT GIVES SHASTA???
Though he did have a pretty cool light up punch bowl that made the sprite/seven up glow bright pink. I might forgive him if he would just give me the punch bowl for my own parties. mmmhmmm.

What kind of party would they throw?; Mason's an antisocial kid, and prefers jamming to music in his own little world than at a party. However, he has some close buds that drag him (most of the time they just have to steal his headphones and run) to parties. Mason doesn't necessarily mind, it's just that sometimes people aren't all that great, you know? But he loves joining in on all the fun games and challenges--whenever he has his couple friends over for a "party" they always play silly challenges and film them. And dance, of course. What would a party be without dancing? Mason likes to dance like no one's watching, and sing like no one's listening. He finds it's better to have fun and do the things you love because life is short, and you should enjoy it while it lasts. And he does, even if that's in his own little way.
