The apprentice had snuck out of the clan, unnoticed. Soulpaw's mentor was too busy at this moment to train the small she-cat so she was going off on her own. The cat was easily able to pick out the clan's border, picking out the scents of other cats and traveling along it.

Snapclaw laughed.
He quickly changed his expression to a serious face.
"Larkpaw... I like you. I understand if you don't like me... I... I like like you Larkpaw..."

Larkpaw caught his breath for a moment, astonished that that was what Snapclaw had wanted. "That's why you were acting so weird.., wasn't it?" his voice trailed off into a thoughtful murmur. After a few heartbeats, Larkpaw had stood to his paws, shaking the pollen and flower petals off of his white and gray coat. Padding hesitantly forward, he straightened himself so he could stand nose to nose with Snapclaw. "I, um.." he started out awkwardly. "I like you too, Snapclaw." he mewed softly. His legs felt numb, and his mouth had gone dry.

Snapclaw blushed.
"R-really...? I thought you would just think i'm weird..."
He touched noses with Larkpaw.
"I'm glad you don't think that though..."

LionFeather did listen to SpottedPelt, and slowed his pace down until he was walking side-by-side to the She-Cat. "Heh, I really hope we get good prey. Maybe my little sister can even show you about the Honey-on-Meat combo. I haven't tried it myself but i'm pretty sure it's good." He said, and then abruptly dropped into a crouch, spotting a hare. "SpottedPelt, do you want that rabbit or should i hunt it?" He said, kinda wiggling his rear because of his hunting stance was a bit off.

FreezePaw had made her way back to the Apprentice den and went to her nest, which was all the way in a corner, and curled up into the corner facing the wall and cried quietly to herself. She seriously couldn't make friends and it was kind of annoying. All she wanted to do was make friends and have fun, but apparently she couldn't do that. Whatever.. I'll just hang with my brother... She thought, then got up and quickly went out of the den, in search for LionFeather.

Larkpaw nodded. "I did think you were acting weird. This morning, during when you kept changing plans. If you liked me, you should of just came out and said it." he mewed softly. "Anyway, I think you hurt some of our clanmates feelings." he rested his tail gently on Snapclaw's shoulder. "Do you think we should go hunting? So then we don't waste today, and the Clan won't be suspicious or mad at us for not contributing?" he asked, changing the subject.

Snapclaw nodded.
"Sure. We could hunt here. They'res plenty of mice."
He directed his tail to a spot where 4 mice were laying around nibbling seeds.
"Think you can do it?"

"I'm sure we will!..wait, honey and meat?" she gawked at him. The stare was quickly broken off, "You can take this one since you found it. I'll look over here and see if I find anything" Spottedpelt said creeping over to a broken log and some bushes.

LionFeather let out a chuckle and twitched his tail. "Yup! Have you caught the scent of it on my fur yet?" He said, nodding his head at her, then went and stared to stalk the Hare.. Closer and closer he got, then leaped onto its back, forcing all his weight onto it's spine, snapped it, then finished the hare off, quickly leaping into a tree and hiding it in one of his secret food stashes, then leaped down and followed SpottedPelt, keeping himself sneaky as well.

He shook his head, "That's not important, not now." Obviously the medicine cat acknowledged that the painful blow to his nose was not an accident but he didn't want to start even more tension between the clan cats.
