hollis was born in New Zealand to a Portuguese mother and French father.
her parents got a mutual divorce when her father came out, and he later married his childhood best friend.
she doesn't express her troubles to her parents because she doesn't want to disappoint them.
so, she puts on a smile and works as hard as she can.
she's got a sharp tongue and isn't afraid to use it. She'll gladly put you back in line if she needs to.
Her mind is quick and has a witty reply to anything and she refuses to deal with most people's buffoonery.
and when it comes to being serious... well, she has some difficulty in that area.
she hates dealing with "adult" situations and constantly pushes it aside.
It takes a lot to bring out her wild and daring side, but other than that she likes to make sure people
are always happy, smiling, and laughing.. if she likes you.
Hollis usually hides her face behind her hockey mask and helmet.
she's been playing hockey her entire life and it is one of her many favourite sports.
she also does surfing, baseball, basketball, the list goes on.. though hockey is one of the ones she focuses on the most.
she's a master at ukulele, and seems to get along with guys better than with girls.
she seems innocent, but that's a bit of an overstatement.
sure, she can bat her eyelashes, talk quietly, and curtesy perfectly, but it's just a fool's game for her.
she's quite the opposite of innocent. she's very devious and only people that have experienced
her wrath know to not make her mad, because when she threatens revenge, you can bet your arse she will get it.
she adores laying out elaborate plans and pranks and often enjoys playing them out.
at least, she used to. she never really like change, so you can imagine that she wasn't happy when
her parents forced her to move to the states to
"broaden her horizons". and since then, she's only ever been shy.
she's been at Pacific Shore Academy for half a year now, and hasn't made many friends,
except some acquaintances from the sports teams.
playing sports is like therapy for her, it's what gets her through dark times.
which obviously isn't entirely healthy, since she bottles up her emotions
and only lets them out on the ice or field.

One thing that really irks her is when people doubt her(she goes out of her way to prove them wrong).
she loves to be in the outdoors and far away from people.
whenever she has the chance to be alone in peace and quiet,
she takes it in a heartbeat. though she's not welcoming to strangers, she's very quiet
when she's the newbie. when it comes to sports, she's all about winning and will try everything to guarantee a win,
making her a valuable asset to any team. she's not exactly the type to go out to a gym and work out daily,
she only trains for her sports. in fact, she plays about every sport to mankind,
yet still manages to be the laziest person you'll meet. her dyslexia was overcome at a young age,
but sometimes it still comes back to haunt her, often when she's reading or writing in front of people.
that and her ADHD sometimes makes it hard for her to socialise with new people,
but she's not socially awkward, just an introvert.
